Trimming an abandoned Javascript web app

Do we really need all this stuff? Why is this project abandoned? What if it were easier to maintain so that bad web devs like me could keep it going?
Trimming dependencies, tooling, and other stuff I don't understand from a Mastodon web app I use. github.com/untangledco/semaphore
This is an experiment and a bit of a break from the video over IP stuff we've been doing.

It is very cool to see you dig into something new to you. More than just seeing you code and stuff the value here, at least from my perspective, is how you break down the entire thing into manageable parts and work through each part. Thank you for sharing and doing this. I am astonished on how you can keep the sense of humor and joyfulness the entire time. I have watched a few of the other low-level programming in Go as I am interested in Go, it is amazing to see you using it for that. I was wondering about your dev setup, it seems pretty simple, I know you use Acme and macOS, are there any other tools you use? Again, thank you for sharing this, I know it is not easy and I hope you can continue doing it. Have a great one!
