4:28 In “Car, Rain and Fire” Beck finds out that Trina has been spreading a rumor that he asked her out. Trina does this, hoping that boys will get so jealous as to fight over her. Beck concocts a plan to teach Trina an important lesson. Beck, Andre and Robbie all feign interest in Trina, go over to her house and pretend to fight over her. Trina gets scared and enlists her dad for help. It turns out that it was all an act. The obvious message of this episode, one that is so cliche even little kids pretty much understand it, is that lying and spreading rumors about someone is immoral. However, there is another lesson, one that the writers probably did not even intend to convey, this was accidentally the message of the episode. That lesson is that having eligible suitors physically fight over you, like you are some sort of prize to be won by the person who is the best fighter, is demeaning. Initially, Trina wanted boys to think that Beck asked her out, so that they would get jealous and fight over her. When boys were fighting over Trina in her own house, she realized that having boys fight over her wasn’t all it was cracked up to be, it was actually terrifying, which is why she enlisted the help of her father to stop the fight. Be careful what you wish for, it might come true.

When it comes to better sister I’d say Tori. Trina basically believe people should be famous for the sake of being famous(kardashian jokes will be recognized just not laughed at...maybe) and the only time I ever remember her being nice was when she tried to stop tori from having an allergic reaction to bush daisies and driving to get to help get a mask off tori but that’s about it.
