I'm 51yrs. And I started listening to this music since the 80s and I'm going to listen to it until I die. This music still has me wanting to got to clubs! This music will never die.
There were so many of these ladies with similar voices in the 90's, for me I remember Trinere with two very popular songs: They're Playing Our Song & I'll Be All You Ever Need. Expose had three that stood out to me: Come Go With Me, Point of No Return, & Let Me Be The One. Then there was Debbie Deb, Ace of Base, Lisa Lisa, Nocera...I know I'm missing a few more names lol. Loved all their hits!
Hilarious!! 😂 Just had a flashback moment of with high school friends w/ Low rider trucks with the dancing hydraulic bed and neon lights . Can't leave out Tina B - Honey to a bee and then for the guys add Timmy T - Time After Time. I always thought Dino's Summergirls borrowed that synth riff jingle pattern but seems they're in diff keys.
It was always a pleasure to photograph Trinere all thru the 80's for almost all of her album/CD covers and promo shots. She was, is and always will be a star!!!!
😅love there music in my early 20s. I'm 56 now and still enjoy it. Now I got my grandchildren loving it too. They enjoy good music and dance to it as well. Thank you for being a big part of my life
Hellz Yeah ! That’s the fucken jam right there . That shit makes me feel my Pimpest . Things can be shit and that jam makes it all fade away , no doubt .

TRINERE ESTEVE NO RIO DE JANEIRO EM AGOSTO E QUEBROU TUDO COM SUA EXCELENTE MÚSICA NO BAILE DOS SONHOS NA LHA DO GOVERNADOR, FOI UM SUPER SHOWWW, ELA ARRASOU DEMAIS E DANÇOU MUITO
I remember this song. Cool. It has so much passion. The girl see's a guy dancing and she knows that he is the one for her, and she is not afraid, or ashamed to admit it. I always liked girls who approached me. It was nice to be chased instead of always chasing. It is a really flattering compliment. A nice song by a real women. Classic.
Never saw her while I lived in Miami or other places in the state when I go see other artists in.Coconut Grove. Can't wait to see her this year in Phoenix. Missed her last time she was here.
I had the pleasure of meeting her in 1989 while I was in Miami during Calle 8,she is a really nice lady and very talented, had a really great unforgettable time seeing her perform live.
the 80's the best era to be a teen or young adult..nuff said..so some weird stuff happen as well , but. It was all in fun..rhe 80's was a rocking era!!!
Lol it was 1987 n I was thiis big metal head in high-school , And one of my buddies asked me if I wanted to go see trinare that night. All I heard was weed n beer. But I gotta admit I fell in love with this lead singer she head my head moving pretty good. Of course I got all the stares imagine this dude long hair denom jacket patches of n etal band all over it well everyone was DAMN !! dressed to impress😄😄😄😄.
This song is so brilliant. It hasn't aged at all. It could be released today and sound entirely au courant. She is a fantastic singer--great tone and incredible feeling. She really sells each performance. Perhaps the most talented singer in the entire freestyle genre.
@@armandobroncas4124 you seem like you hate old school music. Maybe you are into wack ass tekashi snich 9, and lil pump. They have no Meaning in music. All it is garbage. Because your not in my generation. Pathetic 😌

+Forest Predator thank you, for standing up and showing that other useless person throwing an internet bitchfit, how wrong today's music is, COMPARED to this excellent genre. And secondly thank you to your parents, for bringing you up the RIGHT way!
+MyAmysBad I think you may have an immaturity issue when it comes to music. You are either young or brainwashed and are seeking music like its a fashion accessory and not for spiritual fulfillment. People that love their music listen through their ears, not their eyes. None of the artists you list float my boat, its mainstream pointless throwaway pop. I listen to music to feel good not to raise my blood pressure, I find a lot of modern pop unbearable, its so fake and irritating. Superb is not a word I'd use to describe any of them, in fact I can't believe how bad that list is, complete fodder in my opinion. Don't tell me you have all their albums, it looks like something a toddler might want to jump up and down to but an adult? If you grew up with the quality of music that my generation experienced then you would be complaining just like the rest of us. I listen to quite a bit of non mainstream modern music of all styles and there is a lot of interesting stuff out there getting ignored so I am no miserable git stuck in the past but there is no way that I have outgrown the music of the past, I love it more than ever and nothing made today comes close to it.
+MyAmysBad I didn't say you took them but I said to listen and actually enjoy what you say is a great example of modern music it might help to take a sedative to ease the pain. Don't get me wrong, this track is as commercial as hell and not the greatest example of oldskool music but I like the era and it has qualities that are lacking in the majority of today's pop music.
Imprensa FM...Som dos bailes, bailes, bailes, bailes...Rio de Janeiro dos anos 80 e 90. E minha querida São Luís do Maranhão dessa época também...Mix 94, Circuito Jovem, D.J. Connection e tantos outros programas.
Freestyle. What happened to every city and town out here on the west coast having at least one restaurant/night club that would spin the freestyle hits every friday and saturday night? I guess they all closed because we got old.
i recently started a vinyl collection. freestyle music is definitely a key component of the collection i'm working on. this coming winter i'm planning to get turntables so that i can start learning to spin and mix. do not worry. its coming back. i know i'm not the only one.
Not sure if any of her music was played on UK radio stations back in the 1980's but this is a bloody good song to listen to and I have added it to my playlist.
When this song came on me & my friend & would stop whatever we were doing in the club & find each other.....and DANCE...it was Our Song....he's still my best friend!!
My friend on FB has or can find ANY old jam you want, he found an obscure song my son loved when he was little so I could send it to him when he was deployed, & I didn't even know the name of the song!

Quando eu tinha 9 anos , em 1992 minha mãe me deu um disco recém lançado chamado Furacão 2000, que tinha essa música na versão instrumental. Me lembro tocando no meu 3x1 da CCE!!!
