People with comments about lyrics and who is better is not even a discussion but overall I like Trinidad's hustle and his ability to propel himself into a spotlight not like Joe who is waiting for the world to turn real and pick his shit up. Take shots at ASAP, Meek, and everyone else who made their own grind.

Well said. If he was a boxer, then he can respond by talking about fighting. He's a rapper, he should respond by rapping. It's like calling someone out when you KNOW they can't fight you. He can't win in a rap duel and he wouldn't talk about fighting if there was any chance a fight would actually happen lol.

True, well said. But that won't end anytime soon unfortunately. The problem is sometimes "swag rappers" rank themselves as top lyricists. Most NBA players watch and appreciate And1 without claiming to be able to beat those guys at what they do and vice versa. The friction exists cuz lyricists don't like "swag rappers" claiming to be as good or better than the lyrical rappers. With And1/NBA, they both know where they stand and don't claim otherwise.

Trinidad James seems so different since his debut as a rapper in 2012. I think the pressure of having a major deal is getting to him. You can tell that he is annoyed in numerous interviews, including this one. Plus, he is in grave danger of becoming a one hit wonder. Reminds me of OJ da Juiceman.

People judge others so easily without understanding where they are coming from. Like the Miley Cyrus twerking. We all are trying to get money to live a nice life. His songs may not appeal to you but it does to someone. He seems like a real cool dude. Never judge an artist based on one song. Some time people's music has to grow on you. I am not a fan but he is entertaining and he is passionate about creating music.

Rap and hip hop are one in the same though. That's something KRS One started when the newer rappers started to appear. Rap is hop hop. Hip Hop is the origin and the culture. Graffiti, break dancing, beat boxing, rapping is all "Hip Hop." I understand what you mean though about these swag rappers.

Agree with all your points. But in the same way he has a right to make his music and get his money, others have a right to criticise his music. His music is out in the public domain so it's open to criticism. Same way a basketball player's game is open to criticism. Can't go around wanting to fight everyone who criticises your product. You don't see Lebron asking to fight other players who criticise his game. You answer with your content, not violence. That was my point.

SO he's saying that, if his presence in the game is that much of nuisance to anyone, either deal with it or come fight him, cuz at the end of the day, he doesn't give a fuck about your opinion. Well, he's making music for the same audience as these other MC's and rappers. It's like saying Centres shouldn't criticise PG's cuz they play different positions. It's still the same sport. If someone's getting paid less and they're better than you, they're gonna feel slighted and call you out. All Trinadad can do is gracefully avoid it all. But talking about fighting wasn't a good idea. Remember Tpain, Flo-rida n Pitbull get dissed a lot as well. Ignore it and collect the cheque

First of all, Joe budden didn't diss Wu-Tang all he said was he was a better rapper than Method Man. That's that classic hip hop beef back in the day if you felt you were better than someone you guys would battle each other. Wu-Tnag took it seriously escalated it to another level. Raekwon security guard punched him and he was surrounded by like 10 ppl. Also rap is art its about lyrics if it isnt anyone can become a rapper...oh wait....
