They have no common sense. It just proves how small the world is in their head. If they understood how large the world was, They'd be working on to improve their life for the chance to experience the rest of the world, They wouldn't be preparing themselves for prison for "Their block"
Imagine immigrating to another country for a better life and your parents sacrificing everything for you to have a better life but you end up like one of these guys?
For me my immigrant parents were always my motivation to do things the right way. That fast money lifestyle comes with slow problems and it’s sustainable
@@Dragon228833 You say that like gang members aren’t constantly getting murdered and or murdering others in NY. Being college educated and doing music doesn’t negate the consequences of joining a gang. White collar criminals do years in prison yet somehow they’re college educated most of the time. It’s all about the direction of how you want your life to go. Unfortunately when you’re at a young age and you feel like you don’t have much options, many kids fold into choosing the gang life
I don't know, they are pretty notorious for violence, like come at you with a machete violent. Not too many gangs in America are known for that lol UPDATE: Apparently a few people misinterpreted my original comment. I never said this certain gang was the most violent, most feared, the only gang that uses machetes, or even the most notorious. I honestly don't care one way or the other, gangbanging is a sign of cowardice in my opinion. Only scared indviduals(mostly children/teens) who can't fight or defend themselves join street gangs for protection and "status". I don't approve of any of this BS
I'm from NY. I've never heard of them. 100% of NY "gangsters" are just ignorant welfare babies that have never paid for anything in their entire lives. Their parents did the same. They all get checks every month that equal far more than a minimum wage worker. And they all get a free condo when they turn 18. A free condo that costs NY 200 to 600 thousand dollars. It is free for life. The state even gives them a new fridge and stove every year because they don't clean anything.
@@Joshmo1234 machete attacks are getting pretty common now because all of the illegals crossing the border., Especially with the new gangs coming from 3rd world countries like Haiti, Dominican republic, Venezuela, Cuba & gangs from well known Cartels..The Crimes in all those places are decreasing because they're all here now. People who lived in Venezuela before 2021, Now wanna go back home to Venezuela because they say its much safer to live there than here in the U.S..
I think its even funnier that people from the suburbs who probably listen to drill or trap music yet come on RU-vid and criticize real gangsters who really live that life
8:30 glad to see young men, gang members at that talking and acknowledging mental health issues. I've seen many videos on either your channel or Tyler's channel where everyone is acting like everything is normal and they have no trauma. So I'm glad to see them acknowledge that.
Wait until people realize they shadow block topics they don't like. Scariest is you need to e REALLY careful taking about how AI will impact the economy or your comment will say posted but if you try to edit it was actually blocked and you never would have known
@@roguewrld5878 the statistics speak very loudly. there's a very slim chance this dude will not be incarcerated for a prolonged sentence or dead by the time he turns 30. sorry for reporting the truth but don't kill the messenger.
@@spamrobbandoubt it, out them all he seemed the smartest out the group n like he actually has a plan going on for himself in the future but never know ig
They are actually pretty chill for a gang with a most dangerous label. Not that I expected them to be brawling in the street but they weren't boasting about it like I expected them to.
people dont wanna face the fact that its moms and dads who get mfs into this shit my mom had me selling tramadol and xanax to my friends in middle school n i took most of em alot of the time and one day i overdosed and had a sezuire in the offfice and my mom got cps off our ass and we started back up but its like i was only 13 my moms sold and taken drugs before i was born and then pople wanna shame u for being something u cant help so as a form of control and deffence they be it like and take pride in it then u got mfs who are just crazy but mfs be tryna change

we never really leave high school tbh, the class rooms just get bigger, and the groups you used to see in school just get bigger and are now outside instead. its the exact same mentality just leveled up it feels like.
Great video, i will say for me growing up in the hood not having a dad made me very rebellious. Add the environment, and not caring about anything put me in bad situations sometimes. It also made a bond because i grew up with kids that had same struggles. No guidance and no father figure played a big role in not helping me as a youth. Thankfully i was able to rebound and do great things.
@Demosthenes84 thx for the comment. Yes I did. I think it was a gift and a curse it made me a better father. I'm also glad that you did. Life works out for some and I guess we are both fortunate. Peace and blessings.
Man, that video of the kid stumbling around the bodega asking for help... he even ran into an ambulance and they didn't even stop for him... when his throat was slit. That murder was beyond f****d.
I remember when that happened. The whole Dominican community was enraged and wanted every single one involved cooked. Even my mother and all my aunts and uncles were furious.
In college i’ve been getting lessons about how to ask good questions, really all i’ve heard there i see perfectly executed by Tommy. People don’t realise it but he is fucking amazing at asking the right questions and saying the right things. He keeps their respect, can make jokes, can make the conversation get deep, he is really good at this.
He's just a naturally charismatic guy. He understands people, he's truly interested, and he cares. That's really all it takes for some people. In other words, Tommy is a people person.
@@mattymatt6970 yeah true, but his way of asking questions you aren’t born with. He definitely learned it from somewhere with some research. Which is pretty logical as he wanted to be, and now is a journalist. If that’s a word in english haha
@@mkapp8724 ya. Journalist is a word. Honestly, I feel like I could just do it. 😆 lead with questions and shit. I interview women on dates and shit. I'm COMPLETELY aware of how ignorant I probably sound tho. I actually have a few interviews planned. Maybe I'll find out it's much harder than I think. Even if I didn't, I'm sure I'll still learn more techniques if I keep doing it, from studying other people and learning what I tried but didn't work. I'm NOT saying I WILL be good. I'm just saying the quiet part out loud. Either way, I'm very intrigued with interviews. They're cool.
@@mattymatt6970 I feel you bro. Some people are born very social and have good communication skills, me too. I am very good at having conversations, tommy is too. But tommy is also really good at asking the right questions and his way of acting makes people like him. Being good at asking woman the right questions is definitely a good step haha. What kind of interviews do you have planned? You must also realise in Tommy's case, he isn't just asking good questions like an interview. He is surrounded by groups of intidimating people, who really could do anything. He's also getting filmed needs to constantly watch out for people fucking with him. Still he manages to make them like him and ask really good questions, he's a boss.
You know a good thing is criminal street gang is coming all races in colors so don't worry about it brother black white Latino we all have gangs communitys so don't worry about it brother😂 okay and we all know we have hard-working people of all races
We know this is a thing that exist in EVERY country, but yeah, most Dominicans are sick and tired of this kind of criminals and gangs, preaching for someone like Bukele to come and wipe them all. Most people are grinding for a better life studying and working, and there's a LOT of Dominicans representing in big companies that like Google, Microsoft, NASA, etc...
American blacks feel the same way in the same context, yet people don't differentiate with them. I don't think all of any group is bad including blacks
Totally off topic, but my small town would like to invite all of you guys to check out the coolest cruise night in North Texas! Summers Last Blast in Vernon, Texas is the second weekend of August. Swap meet, multiple car shows, burnout contest, live outdoor concerts, vendors around the courthouse square, a whole lot more through out the entire town, and a 4 mile strip just for you to cruise on during the cruise time. We hope to see you guys there!
Tommy got da CHOPPED CHEEEEESEEE!! Nah but for real Thomas thanks for blessing us with another informative video that also has some wholesome moments and crazy good edits.
The guy speaking with the glasses is really well spoken and well thought out statements. He spoke highly of his friends and the spoke clearly about his life and life there for him.
Fun fact, my first time ever visiting New York, I was surrounded by a bunch of these dudes outside a 7-11 they kept asking me what my Rolex crown tattoo meant, they thought I was a Latin king
@@yaboisbunker7744 trouble he could of been a initiation plate. thank god when you get a chance and thats real talk in jail both gangs fixing you or you joing lk
Tommy G, I emailed you earlier today about my Neighborhoods war with the homeless and how the city is doing nothing, they've set an RV on fire with a Mulatov next to my house and we struggle daily to protect our families... please respond soon
I've lived in Washington heights,181st. And Broadway Bennett st, around the corner from key food grocery store 🎉. Restaurants are great there, Dominican food, so great 🎉
16:11 He says he’ll feel like a b*tch for making peace with his ops, it’ll never end he says, 15 seconds later he says his goal in life is to make it out and change everybody. With rapping drill music about k*lling your friend. If you’re actually being real with yourself stop rapping about k*lling and stop walking around with people saying “Gang gang we the toughest in the street we make no friends with ops”. You’ll never make it out with that exact personality.
The crazy part is there wasn’t shit to make it out of bro. I come from this exact fucking community. I’m Dominican and never once did I think about getting into any of this bullshit
@@pgh_kenanbecause the gang was started to protect themselves from other gangs. Is the same like bloods and crips that killed innocent ppl , they ain’t the only one. 😂
@@cristian49537 ik but that one went FAMOUS, plus it was brutal murder, usually with other gangs someone would get hit wit a stray bullet but they tracked and chased em down and stabbed him to death, then had the nerve to cry in court
I watched another video about this gang and the members said they don’t respect that murder of junior. they told the interviewer they never intended to kill innocent people they only get busy with oops. I respect them not owning that for credit and putting streets credit on that murder.
Respect to both you and their crew.. i see this a lot more the old heads teaching the young ones the positivity and learn from my mistakes mentality. Love seein this 🙏👏🏻👏🏻.. i get not all of em feel that way but hey. 1 day at a time
What up big dog? I really enjoy watching all the crazy stuff on your channel Tommy G! Fun fact: The lowest character on the “Totem pole” is actually the most important and the level of importance is lower as you get higher! You would be surprised how many people use that term and they have no idea that it’s the exact opposite. My mom’s side of my family are Indigenous,or Native as a lot of people like to be called. There are a few different sayings that non Native people use that are kind of offensive,as well as being used ass backwards. If people are going to use sayings from other people’s cultures then they can at least use them right. It wouldn’t really be disrespectful if people actually knew what they were saying, honestly.
Because there’s no such thing as a black or white Dominican, we’re just DOMINICAN.. when are y’all African Americans gone understand this is exactly what they wanted y’all to think like.. not even in Africa they call each other a color 😂
I wouldnt mess around with train hopping honestly, regardless of how good of an informative video it can be. And anyone who actually connects with you about trainhopping, probably isnt a genuine trainhopper. stay safe bro
They have nothing else and don't know how good it feels to be out of that environment. It's like having depression. You forget how good it is when it's gone.
@Regdollaz456 🧢 biggest cowards in NYC is bloods and crip homegrown gangs / blocks regardless of borough or race of members tend to be more vicious real. Bloods and crip is just a trend in NYC and attracts a lot of the weak.
4hrs school there,no ambition, father multiple families, sex and vulgar music will produce this. The problem is work ethic and education and strong healthy family system. I've said for years Canos act like they discovered fire 100yrs ago and thrown into modern society
I bought my baby daddy a "big dogs gotta eat" t shirt & he was sooo happy lol. He thought it was the coolest shirt. He said he wears it to the gym lol. Gonna buy him another one this coming Christmas
I found your channel just by chance and I'm glad that I took time to see what you're about and how you operate. Normally journalism is a particular thing, but how you said in one of your videos that you've sidestepped the professional accreditation and jumped head first straight into it and found out that your sincerity propels you everywhere you go and to the people you interview. I also appreciate it when someone challenges my ways of thinking about something. I really respect that man, thank you for the interesting content. Best wishes to you and your future endeavors, J.
I would love a Tommy G secondary channel where u just talk about the past, styled like this about the gangs black hand,.. bootlegging… I like this information and you give nice edits and speak not to fast or slow so it would make a splendid secondary channel!
If you didn’t say this, I wouldn’t even notice. Most of them are black in this vid 20:17 aside of those light tones ones. Reminds me why i dont fuck with em like how can you deny your blackness is beyond me.
