LL's Quick Review (7/10)
+ humorous script
+ easy-to-learn battle system
+ Flonne and her Flonnedignation
+ Two storyline's in different point of view (makes it interesting to see each side's view)
+ Good EN VA
+ JP VA intact
- Grinding material heavy
- Repetitive gameplay pattern
- Repetitive dungeons
- not fully EN voiced for everything
- 1 million evaluation points and 100 drifts total trophy
Overall the experience was great due to the awesome script and humor from the Disgaea characters (especially the long awaited 3D Flonne in her first cross-over game)!
The battle system is easier and more basic than Cross Edge's system but yet makes it easier to understand and get used to it.
Aside from that, the dungeons and actual gameplay does get repetitive since you follow nearly the same basic pattern like in Cross Edge (view side events, grinding dungeons for materials to make stuff, view major events to advance to next chapter).
If you like Cross Edge, then this game will most likely be to your liken due to the humor and more "basic" battle system.
If you don't like Cross Edge due to the complexity of the system and battle BUT like the story and humor, then you'll might want to check Trinity Universe out.
If you don't like Cross Edge due to everything (system, battle, story), don't bother with this game.
