I personally think vee remote both got better and worse, being able to rush through floors with multiple vee remotes in the pre-update was so fun, but I definitely like the new upside of no longer being 50% worse at extraction
I still thought it gave less extraction bc all the youtubers said to use it on distractors cuz they dont care about the nerf to the extract speed. Ig its time to get veemote on my extractors
I feel like a lot of these items would go higher up the ranking if there was one extra trinket slot. The problem with a lot of them is that they’d take up one of the two slots that would be better suited for an A or S tier trinket.
I would have veemote + particapation award + night cap since i am pure extractor and i suck at distracting if there were 3rd trinket slot... mabye one of the future toons can have 3rd trinket slot as passive?
Friendship bracelet is a good trinket, in the early game when everyones alive. In most of my games im with a squad of 3 by floor 10 so i never get good value from it
just wanted to correct something about stealth, the amount of stealth you get from stars is actually 5 stealth per star -5. so for example, brightnee actually has 0 stealth
10:15 I think Ribbon Spool is just a trinket mainly catered towards Razzle & Dazzle. Afterall, Dazzle is a slow runner but a fast extractor on even floors so I think it helps them. Otherwise, I don't see much usage out of it for other toons.
Theres a strat that has a distractor like goob use spool and plush/shoes, and then razzle using shoes and plush, and they switch off diatracting every floor. Outside of those two uses though, its mostly outclassed
I think the thinker cap is c tier, if you have a character that has low skill check window size, like scraps , it could be useful so you don't mist the skill check as much
True but it doesn't really affect how much progress the skill check really gives you. But it is indeed nice if you're struggling with low skill checks.
okay, so i'll explain why i use pretty bag, I main Teagan, Teagan's ability is 100 = 1 heart, if you are doing a dandy run or a solo, Teagan is incredabily good, bc everyone wouldnt pick up any tapes meaning you have all of them to your self, if your an experienced player, you wont need to use the ability immediately meaning you can stock up, and get over 400+ tapes, this is why i use pretty bag, you can disagree with me but i use it all the time. (also i pair pretty bag with wrench to make up for the lost 3% extraction speed)
for some of the F tier items, i have some rework ideas: Fancy Purse and Coin Purse could provide some kind of boost to the amount of tapes you get from performing tasks rather than just having a head start (example being that you get 75% more tapes while having fancy purse, but with some downside) (while coin purse would be more versatile for not giving as much tapes but not causing any downside) another idea i had for these to was a "tax collector" type system where every time anyone in the server gets tapes, you also get a small amount of tapes (16% of what they got) as for crayon set it should fill your inventory with items after each floor, starting off with common items, and gradually increasing in rarity as you progress through floors (even able to get bandaids and medkits) as for thinking cap, it should work like the diary and overall boost the skill-check stat it would be really handy for those who havent gotten 100% research on shelly and only have the magnifying glass to work with (overall increase means bigger size, more completion added, and a higher chance) the pop pack could probably do better if it was gained after a machine was completed or after you completed a machine in that case the whole icon and name would have to be different as if it were something you did to get a can from the machine it would make it good with sleeping cap that way as well and brick is a challenge item so it stays the same for the spedometer i always thought of the idea of it working like an actual spedometer, increasing your sprint speed the higher/lower your stamina bar is
Thermos could actually be useful and worth the ichor it needs if the boost was around 50% to 60%, it'd espically go well with Astro, making him basically run almost all the time with no consequences
2:30 fancy purse is not bad, i would put it in b, it is useful and can buy a medkit at the start, how fun! Also teagans ability will need that, so yeah.
It is indeed useful, especially for teagen. But the problem with it is it loses significant value during mid - Late game where tapes aren't that hard to get, you'll be stuck with that reduction until the end.
Lightbulb can also be useful for solo's when in a blackout, I often use it when I use Brightney! Useful when trying to reach Brightney's mastery... Especially if your gon' need to experience ALOT of blackouts.. (My opinion tho..)
Feather duster and bone can make very good combo, especially on low stamina toons Night cap can be combined with thermos for insane stamina Regen Blue bandana and machine manual also can be combined together Low tier trinkets are pretty neat in combos Though I still don't know why we have this pop pack
Thinking Cap is actually quite useful for Shrimpo in my opinion. Other than that, yes i completely agree that all the trinkets in F tier are useless. I don’t use any of them except for Thinking Cap if playing as Shrimpo
Imagine, you could THROW THE BRICK AT A TOON, stunning them for 3s, whoever you can only do it once, and instead of 10% speed, is 15% less speed (Edit: i meant twisted but it would be funny having friendly fire)
I’d say with how little thermos affects stamina regeneration that the Pop Pack with a -10% on it would do about the same effect, especially since a bottle of pop is pretty strong filling up your entire stamina back to full that it is better than feather duster and speedometer in my opinion, but I don’t use the trinket nor own it myself so I don’t have experience. Also to put pink bow in a slightly different way, a lot of the time you won’t be able to just outwalk things like 4 star or higher movement speed characters, and being able to run far faster and gain distance easier is a much better way of escaping than trying to rely on conserving stamina when you can’t be able to get away
i find dandy plush useful for teagen so i say it should be on either tier C/B. teagen is the only toon that has reason to use tapes bc of her healing ability especially late floors. last time i got to floor 24 as teagen with my buddy who also use teagen (we both were doing mastery). we both got hit alot which makes us barely has tapes. died at floor 24 but my friend able to reach floor 26 bc he was using dandy plush. this is only in my opinion.
I think if you were to play with Shrimpo then thinking cap would be a more useful. pop pack is more useful for low stamina characters. Speedometer is good for Shrimpo. Pull toy is more combo type not good on its own good with alarm it is more like combo used better with Shelly the combo provides some boost. Spare lightbulb is good for brightney in large lobbies for help in blackouts when they have some extractor. The rest is reasonable. Thank you for your time reading this if you are here
Tbh if u want a distractor trinket set up u should prob go with these 3 sets that are my good in my opinion: Set :1 Dog plush and speed shoes would be good build for toons that have 4 star movement speed. Set:2 Dog plush and pink bow Ngl this set is pretty good bc u get the best of both worlds, a boost of running speed and a extra boost to outwalk twisteds. Set 3: Veemote and dog plush, I think this would be good bc it helps with risky machines and also giving u the ability to outwalk twisteds too. Hope this helps! 😁
Is anyone else thinking the game is a bit distractor sided? With trinkets like veemote, participation award and magnifying glass you can kind of cheese away your biggest weakness. If you do your skill checks well you can complete a machine much faster than you could before, other toons will be better at it but you can do a decent job. And with the right trinkets your walking speed can be faster than twisteds running speed. It's not a major issue, kinda minor, but it does feel a bit lopsided. But I'd like others opinions!
TIP: Alarm can be a (sorta) useful trinket for beginner kiters/distractors, especially toons with 4 star speed. Twisteds get a speed boost in Panic Mode so if you're just learning how to distract then this can catch you off guard.
My only suggestions for the Trinket replacements: Manual on C (It's only good when you just started the game but as you make progress you lose sight of this Trinket) Speedshoes on S (It's useful for toons that are 2 star movement & Combo this with Dog Plush makes you speed more effective for distractors to have safer distance against Pebble) Spare bulb on D (It has good use for it but it's not very effective unless that kind of skill card called "Sprark plug" appear, tbh it's rare to see someone using this but I don't see the point of using since this only can be useful in late. Plus with Electrician, much worse because this item only come handy on Blackout) Alarm is on D (I do not see the point of using this either since this just gets outclassed by Speedshoes, Pink Bow & etc.) Thermos on B (this comes in clutch upon finding safer spot & lose sight of their aggro, this can come in handy for Toons that have 2 & 4 stamina. Which allows them to refill enough stamina just in case if spam aggro)

thinkers cap is only good for mobile users (because they have to tap a button and not miss, they have it worse tbh) also the coin purse debuff was a shame it used to do 250 but got nerfed because of teagan
I personally think alarm should definetly be lower B atleast since as a distract its quite invaluable since once you need to escape you can keep distracting them or luring them to a deeper paet of the map so they dont get in the way of toons fleeing, this really does help a lot in case you are distracting vee or pebbs :D
Honestly, I find that the potpack does have a good use in late floors?But the best combination I found is pink bow and fancy purse. It may be a weird combination, but with the extra walk speed and a 100 starter tapes. It's actually pretty good if you're playing with people who are actually good at the game.
Tip for thinking cap: If you’re as flutter, you should totally use it because if you’re doing a main run or something you won’t die from one of the main like Vee Shelly and stuff
The only niche I've ever thought about when it comes to the brick is that, at the very least, you theoretically hold more control over your speed and it lessens the risk of overshooting when you're trying to end a chase by circling a smaller obstacle. Idk about you, but sometimes it's painful to circle around only for a Twisted to run back around the opposite way and restarting the whole process again. Is it actually viable and not a waste for a better trinket? Nah, but credits where it's due at least. I'd personally say it could be top F.
i know no one cares at all BUT here is my trinket tierlist as a person with all toons mastered and all trinkets. 1: (Participation) Award Perfect extraction trinket. Can be used with all toons, and still easy to get Great Job! skill checks. Perfect when paired with magnifying glass and a 3+ skill check 2: (Speedy) Shoes A amazing distraction trinket. Increases Run speed AND walk speed by 5%. Usually paired with Dog Plush or Veemote 3: Dog Plush Very similar to Speedy Shoes, but you only need to distract most toons with 5% walk speed + 4 stars of speed. This is good for distracting Pebble, Vee, Goob, Scraps as Pebble. 4: Mag(nifying Glass) The 2nd best extraction trinket. It’s good but the 33% skill check loss isn’t good for toons with less than 3 Stars of skill check. 5: Veemote (Vee’s Remote) A replacement for Magnifying Glass if your toon doesn’t have a big skill check. It is good, but gets worse when paired with other Veemotes. 6: Pink Bow Usually another option for distractions if you dont want to use Dog Plush / Shoes, but is also good with Vee, Rodger, Scraps, and Brightney. 7: Diary Good for 3 or 2 stealth toons when there is a distraction around. 8: Night Cap It’s nice to have a way to quickly recover stamina, especially as a Tisha / Vee / Shelly. 9: Spare Bulb This is more of a convenience for solo runs. Best for Astro, Vee and Brightney. 10: (Machine) Manual Similar to Bandana, Good for beginners, but once you get Award (Late game item), you never use it. 11 / 12: Bone and Feather Duster Both okay, rarely used but it can work with distractions. 13: Dandy’s Plush Good for Teagan. Thats it. 14: Blue) Bandana Hit HARD after the nerf. Good for beginners, immediately ditched once you get Mag and Manual. 15: Alarm Okay with slow toons needing to get to the elevator. Only used for that. 16: Speedometer Basically the opposite of Pop Pack, being okay with low stamina ,but still bad (Tisha, Shelly, Shrimpo) 17: Thermos Slightly better than Pop Pack because it can be used with all toons, but is still borderline useless 18: Ribbon Spool The same as Pop Pack, being only used with R&D 19: Pop Pack Can be a little useful when playing with Scraps, but thats it. 20: Wrench Not that useful, just use veemote 21: Friendship Bracelet Useless Solo, Doesn’t help much ingame unless playing with a full squad. 22: Fancy Purse Only good for Teagan, and Dandy Plush is better for her. 23: Crayon Set Getting 3 uncommon+ items is nice but why would you waste a space on that?? 24: Purse You cant even buy a speed candy with 30 tapes. It isn’t enough for anything. Just use the fancy purse. 25: Pull Toy Basically Useless. 26: Thinking Cap This doesn’t even help at all. It’s basically useless. My 13th reason why: Brick Boring.
2:07 argee , you can even find likely 20 tapes in first floor , make it didnt even worth a trinket slot that can save for better trinket , i remember i got 60 tapes just from first 1-2 floor , it also mean fancy purse also worthless too , you just need to get floor 2 without buy anything from dandy and you literally get yourself over 100 tapes
Vee remote is really good if 4 people or lets say 8 players with the vee mote play the game its an easy win zooming through floors until the machines needed goes above 8.
I kind of understand that you can get the vee's remote trinket from completing twisted vee research and mag glasses from completing rodger research, but idk where to get that dog plush, is that from pebble?
Magnify glass will probably always be one of my go to trinkets unless it gets nerfed. It’s amazing and there are so many justifiable builds and uses out of it with every single toon idk how anyone could say no to it. Also this might sound cliche cause everyone knows how good she is, but it just screams Tisha usage imo
Imo there are so many wrong things in this tier list, Especially the speedy shoes' placement. Speedy is shoes is unironically THE most versatile trinket in the game. You can slap it in any mixed / kiting builds and it would work like a charm. Even though the movement speed increase is pretty minimal, its the only trinket in the game that can provide both walk AND run speed increase without any limitations. Its an easy S for me. I'd also like to point out that Thermos, and Dandy Plush should atleast be moved up to C. Although their best potential is only third-rate, They're good enough to be alternatives on certain scenarios. Dandy's plush can only be used best on Teagan in Team Runs, though. Lastly, I'd put Friendship Bracelet and Diary to B and bring down Wrench, Pull Toy, and Feather Duster by one tier. Friendship bracelet is actually surprisingly strong on certain toons, especially on certain runs where there's only one kiter in your team. Diary is the same case aswell. It's pretty good on certain situations where you're using a toon that has the same stealth as your kiter. It's really limited, but because of how much time and effort you can save by just having slightly higher stealth than your kiter is honestly so reassuring so that you can Extract more at ease. Wrench and Pull Toy costs ichor to provide very poor usage alongside only being one activation per floor. Case closed. Feather Duster may look good, but trust me, you'll never find any situation where you'll ever use this trinket and actually your life. You may encounter it once probably, but thats it. In most team runs you'll get almost all of the items dropped on the ground except for certain ones. You'll roughly only get none at the worst case scenario, and only 2-5 when best. That's barely anything. It feels so useless that you won't even notice the stamina bar change unless you were paying close attention to it.
Honestly no idea why, but I assume its to help starting players more easily since getting these trinkets early on can help due to how bad most of the trinkets in the dandy’s lobby shop are
Fun fact if u have ribbon spool and dog plush equiped with a toon with 3 star movment speed u have enough walk speed to kite on even floors but its kinda useless and the only way i can see this actually having a use is if brightney could use the walk speed to distract😅 until a blackout occurs
purses are good for mastery put them in D Alarm helps with slow extractors that have very high extranction speed needs to be atleast B i think ribbon spool should be D bcuz its just for rnd anyways
Honesty ribbon spool was most likely made for razzle n dazzle and not for anybody else odd number rnd is already fast but even floor number rnd has like 1-2 star movement speed and ribbon spool can really boost that.
8:09 Now this does have different opinions on it and I can see why as its a type of situational trinket but I can also say that I do like using it for Rodger with a duo run with my friend and that's why I do use it if I was with more players I wouldn't and well I can see that it is a very situational trinket that takes a bit of thought into it but I can say that it is good when you have little to no players in your game where if distracters toons have to deal with more than 2-3 toons and lets say shelly on astro floors etc. that it is a good trinket and I can see the reason its been not used as most people don't do duo runs. But for me it is a good trinket and I think having it in C tier is a good choice as its situational and it isn't helpful all the time. And that's just my say on it people may think its not good and people may think it is honestly but it just matters if its fun to use and if it is and you find it fun then use it.
thinking cap could still be useful for some people, like me (I’m still horrible at skill checks when using toons who have a really high skill check stat)

Also I think alarm should have been moved up to A teir as the boost in walk and run speed is very useful from getting away from aggro twisteds, even more so when you are playing as brightney or vee.
I feel like veemote should be in A-B tier because its basically a better ver than wrench but the downsides are if people complete half the macs faster than you you wont be able to use it and since theres so many macs in the future floors it will migth not come as usefull as it usually is at the start
1:03 I'm not sure you're evaluating this trinket completely fairly based on niche or character-specific uses. for example, shrimpo has absolutely tiny skill checks and could be in a lot of danger when performing them in rnd's range, with lag, or on higher floors. that increase of 40 is very useful for him! in addition, there are several trinkets that decrease skill check size, so this item could make them more viable on characters with low skill check proficiency. I don't think it's that poor of an item.
@@Siennajs with cosmo out, it's a more important item than ever, imo. I do like veemote on shrimp too, but a lot of people do shrimp-only runs and in that case the thinking cap is still great, especially if having to deal with rnd.
In my opinion i think thinking cap should be higher. One of the characters i like to play the most is flutter and when there’s goob’s that will destract, i cant do machines well with 2 star extraction and skill check as the skill check is very hard to get great job on but with thinking cap it is way easier and helps me do machines, just saying but I respect your opinion.
In my opinion, not dissing yours, I use Pop Pack on the regular due to to free tapes it gives every floor for using the pop, and the 10% less stam regen isn't that bad when I have instant stamina or just find a speed candy. I'd put it in one tier higher than you did, though I do agree that it's not great.
