Im sorry to @kitkat61739 that i have to unpin your comment for this! I know that the Diary trinket doesn't help brightney at all, the trinkets you should actually use are speed trinkets, because of the stealth. So I actually recommend Pink bow (poppy) Speedy shoes (dandys shop)
I like to think of myself as a more experienced player (I still have flaws ofc), and I will say, there were a few differences in trinket choice that I found surprising. Anyone else would comment on that and move on with their life, but I have no life (TvT), so I'm taking it upon myself to make my own list for every toon mentioned (I am not okay.) You probably won't read it but its the thought that counts hahaaaaaaa *dies* Boxten: Magnifying Glass + Dog Plush This is going to be a very common trinket combination in this list. Its very versatile and enables you to do a handful of things. Most importantly, Dog Plush is especially helpful for one thing in particular, which is walking away from the twisteds. That may sound stupid, but by having the speed to walk away from twisteds long enough, you can use much less stamina while you run from them until you find a suitable island to run around (One without teammeates, most preferably). As for magnifying glass, its just a really good trinket. Poppy: Magnifying Glass + Dog plush Told you this would be a recurring theme. Same reasons as Boxten though. She may not be as good at extracting, but the boost is still much appreciated. Shrimpo: Vanity Mirror + Vee's Remote/Blushy Bat As a Shrimpo main, this is the trinket set I am most confident in. Starting with Vanity mirror, the main reason for it is simply that Shrimpo cannot outrun common twisteds in panic mode otherwise, unless he's running Speedy shoes + Pink bow or something. As for the other two, I personally like Veemote just because you're typically not going to be extracting many machines as Shrimpo anyway. Might as well do one immediately if at all. And with Blushy Bat, its just a standard survivability trinket that benefits Shrimpo greatly. You may worry about the small skillchecks Shrimpo has without thinking cap, but the fact of the matter is that Skillchecks, unless you're a 1* with magnifying glass, are not hard to hit. You're going to miss skillchecks regardless of if you have thinking cap or not. Toodles: Magnifying Glass + Vee's Remote/Dog Plush For the sake of saving time, I won't be commenting on the combo of Dog Plush and Magnifying Glass much anymore. But Vee's Remote is just a personal pick. Toodles has low extraction speed, may as well improve it as much as you can, given her high stealth. Tisha: Magnifying Glass + Dog Plush Dog Plush is more helpful on Tisha because of her 4* speed. The amount a percentage increase helps a toon is very dependent on how good the stat that's getting boosted is. This is why Dog plush is such a popular pick for 3* toons and above for this list, and not for some of the slower toons. Vanity Mirror is the exception to this percentage rule, since that speed buff is so substantial that its able to be used effectively. Cosmo: Same as the video, though I may swap out thinking cap for Dog Plush for reasons previously mentioned. Rodger: Magnifying Glass + Vanity Mirror I'm fairly certain this has been explained thoroughly enough before, but just in case, Vanity Mirror is such a substantial buff that it benefits even the slowest toons, whereas lower percentage boosts like Pink Bow won't help them as much. Brightney: Magnifying Glass + Dog Plush Diary doesn't benefit Brightney at all unless there's another Brightney on the team, since it only raises stealth by half a star. Otherwise, trinkets are just a personal pick. Razzle & Dazzle: Magnifying Glass + Vanity Mirror Magnifying Glass for both, Vanity Mirror for Dazzle (the slow one.) Finn: Magnifying Glass + Participation Award (or if you wanna have fun, Vee's Remote + Vanity Mirror) Finn is a surprisingly effective machine crusher with the speed boost he gets, so extraction trinkets seemed to make the most sense with his high skillcheck stat. Teagan: Magnifying Glass + Vee's Remote I like boosting Teagan's extraction as much as possible, since doing machines gives you 10 tapes each. With these trinkets, you can usually run to a machine, use Veemote, and find another one to extract before the floor is over, not to mention the tapes you're getting from picking up items and stray tapes anyway. I personally don't value Fancy Purse, since only getting to use one heal in the entire run if you're expecting to get far anyway is just a waste of a trinket slot at that point. Flutter: Same as the video, but if I don't feel like kiting, I'll sometimes run Vee's Remote over Speedy Shoes Scraps: I honestly have no clue. Run whatever you want on scraps, she's such a mixed bag that a bunch of different things could probably work. Goob: Same as the video Glisten: Magnifying Glass/Participation Award + Dog plush. I don't like running Vee's Remote on the 5* extractors, since I'd personally rather get a bunch of machines done over a long period of time than instantly complete one on a floor that has like 12 machines. Astro: Vee's Remote/Magnifying Glass + Dog Plush See section on Boxten for similar advice. Vee: Magnifying Glass + Participation Award/Vanity Mirror Vanity Mirror is usually better to run than Participation award in my opinion, but I find the extra extraction boost fun to play with. But for my reasoning, see the section on Tisha where I nerded out about percentage increases lol Shelly: Participation Award + Magnifying Glass See the sections on Glisten and Finn. Sprout: Vee's Remote + Magnifying Glass/Dog Plush See the section on Teagan. Pebble: No complaints here. This took me like an hour to do, I regret nothing >:)
I took 9 minutes to read the whole thing.. 😭 Also, i like using Speedy Shoes and Pink bow on Scraps. But i've seen a lot of other good trinket combos for Scraps, so i agree with you.
I love this! but i will also share my trinkets i usually use for different toons! every trinket I think would suit for toons - vee, magnifying glass and speedy shoes/wrench - astro, veemote and speedy shoes/magnifying glass/sweet charm - sprout, dogplush and veemote pebble, dogplush and speedy shoes shelly, magnifying glass, part award/veemote goob, speedy shoes and dogplush flutter, speedy shoes and dogplush tisha, dogplush and mag glass boxten, magnifying glass and blue bandana brightney, magnifying glass and pink bow cosmo, thinking cap and veemote finn, part award and mag glass gigi, mag glass and goob bracelet glisten, magnifying glass (ONLY IF UR GOOD AT SKILLCHECK) and pink bow poppy - magnifying glass and speedy shoes razzle nd dazzle - magnifying glass / veemote and ribbon spool rodger - magnifying glass and veemote scraps - veemote and pink bow shrimpo - veemote and vanity mirror teagan - fancy purse and speedy shoes/magnifying glass toodles - veemote and MAGNIFYING glass
2:47 if you play as Brightney or Shrimpo theres no use using the diary because it only increases your stealth by *half a star* (from what Ive heard) you’ll still get prioritized by the twisteds (unless youre playing with a round full of Brightneys or Shrimpos then you wont get chased)
Well,i dont sincerely hate this video, but i think some Trinkets are kinda useless on some toons and some changes i would make: Boxten: Boxten is an Extractor,so he would priotize off Bandana, giving him an Extraction Speed higher than Vee/Glisten when 8 people are present, and Pink Bow for Surviving Poppy is pretty much the same as Boxten, however, replace Bandana with Speedy Shows for Surviving,The same as Boxten if Extracting I don't need to explain Shrimpo. Toodles is Trash, however i would highly recommend Magnifying to priotize her average Skill Check and Mid Extraction Speed, and Pink Bow/Diary Tisha,is the best Non-Main Toon overral, being able to do pretty much THREE ROLES at the same time,Dog Plush and Speedy for Distracting,Magnyfing and Participation Award for Extraction, and something weird like Sweet Charm and Pink Bow for Support? Finn, for a Dash of Heebie Jeebies,Vanity Mirror and Alarm, General Extraction,Magnyfing and Participation Award Cosmo ,is an Odd Case,i pretty much agree on his choices, rather i think Dandy Plush would be Interesting cause he seems like somebody that would be buying from Dandy Often. Rodger,Please don't recommend Walk Speed Boosts for Slower Character, instead Use Pink Bow/Bandana and Pink Bow/Magnifying Goob, this one is pretty odd,Go to the Default Dog Plush and Speedy Shoes for Distracting,but... For some reason,i could see People using Participation Award and Magnyfing on Him,due to his average Skill Check stat sCRAPs,sCRAPs is the Toon Ever, however, throw Vanity Mirror and Pink Bow on Her Flutter, same as Goob, however exclude the Skill Check Part Glisten, lets get this Quick. Extraction: Magnifying/Bandana or Bandana/Machine Manual for Top Extraction Surviving:Nothing pretty much,if a Goob is Distracting, then Diary and Pink Bow Razzle Dazzle is the First Toon i agree on Yippee!!!! Tee Gun,Please don't really use Fancy Purse unless if you REALLY NEED TO Survive Floors, however, Pink Bow to priotize her Above-Average Stamina, and Magnifying for Extraction
5:27 pebble is alredy fast and if you use those trinkets youl out walk most twisteds and lose sight of them unlesss distracting twisted vee pebbles or zesty mirror
As a shrimpo main, if you are already good at skillchecks, (you can practice 1 star skillchecks by using cosmo!) use pink bow n vanity mirror, but for more speed in chases, pink bow n speedy shoes :D
The video is fun and stuff but some stuff don't match with eachother. Espically Brightney. Yes, brightney is a survivalist, extractor and a support BUT the diary is mostly useless for her. Why? Because it will only be useful in a few times which is probably when there's another Brightney around. Her regular stealth is 0 and with diary, it makes it 2.5 stealth. Glisten, Goob, Pebble, Teagan and Vee all share the the same stealth which is 5.0 so therefore, it is really useful and I suggest another item for better survival like speedy shoes as she Toodles & Poppy using the blue bandana would be rather a counter to their magnifying glass trinket as it allows them to add a small progress to the machine by hitting a skillcheck meanwhile blue bandana reduces skillcheck chance by 5% Teagan/Sprout... well, fancy purse is a WASTE OF TRINKET SLOT. You could equip a movement speed or extraction trinket since this toon is a survivalist and survivalists are often good at both extracting and surviving. You can still equip it but I don't recommend it. Espically if you're playing dandy run/solo! It's sooo much easier getting tapes when doing one of the two. Just go around doing machines or collecting tapes and you'll make progress.
@@thehopeless4862 thank you for this information, but the brightney one has been solved, it's in my pinned comment, I only put on fancy purse just because there is a lot of tape stealers and I usually don't get 100 tapes until floor 10..but the toodles and poppy one was very useful, thank you.
Do not use diary for brightney it only lets u give twisteds to fellow brightney because shrimpo hah -99 stealth bc ability I would say speed trinkets that could be useful from running since u have very low stealth (not trying to hate)
@@GlobeAnimatez actually yes you can, the trinkets are only support for pebble to distract, but since he already has 5 movement speed, you can use any trinkets you want, and still distract!
-I think the best and most common build for a distractor is dog plush + speedy shoes, because they need as much speed as they can to outwalk the twisteds -Bone is a weird choice on pebble because you only gain speed boosts by picking up items, its not the best trinket to rely on because the number of items will start to dwindle the longer you stay in a floor. Even if you use your ability to gather up as many items as you can, the speed boost from bone will stack and make you so incredibly fast that you'll just start outrunning the twisteds and losing their attention instead of keeping them on you -Vanity mirror seems like a waste of a trinket slot because pebble's default speed is already fast enough to reach the elevator with just a few seconds left, he doesnt need any more
@@mayumi_minty actually only a hour and 30 minutes- 😭 I recorded the whole process, (well I needed to go for a while so I stopped recording) but I'm actually editing it right now, so if you want to see it it shall be out soon :D
Heh, maybe it is for you, but most of the time people steal a lot of tapes when im sprout so i really liked using fancy purse, but that might not be the case for you, i respect your opinion though.
@@X...T0T4LLY-EPIK_V3E...Xyw!! Here are some things i should change too -bandana and mag glass should never go together because the skill check chance reduction from bandana minimizes the effect that mag can have on your extraction speed, mag glass is always the better option because skill checks add more progress to a machine within a shorter amount of time which is crucial if you want to extract faster -thinking cap should only be used if you are new to toons with small skill checks, 1 and 2 star skill checks become alot easier with practise and experience, allowing the thinking cap to be swapped out with much more useful trinkets (saying this as someone who has used cosmo with mag and award) -while fancy purse is definitely a valid option for sprout and teagan, it only provides a short term effect in the form of free tapes, once these tapes have been used up the purse becomes useless and wont help you in the future. This is why alot of sprout and teagan players ditch the fancy purse for trinkets with long term effects that can help them throughout the whole game. A good example is the veemote, you get 10 tapes for using it on a machine with zero progress, add those tapes with the 10 earned at the end of every floor, you would make at least 20 tapes per floor (not counting tapes picked up from the ground, tapes from consuming items, tapes from extracting additional machines, and aggro tapes), that means you'd have 100 by the end of floor 5 which is a great early game start + the veemote's effects doesnt stop there, you'll keep getting more and more from every floor as the machine count goes up and more opportunities to get tapes arise
