I hope so too! Malta is definitely a place people want to see nowadays. I have heard and read article that Air Malta is thinking about adding a couple A321LR’s to the fleet to start doing this.
@@aviationreports8767 I really hope that becomes true. I know people who live in New York and visit Malta regularly They have to travel via London or Paris. NYC to Malta direct would have high demand. :-)
@@aviationreports8767 If they do so ... they will need to have IFE in ALL seats, a proper 2-2 configuration business class and more leg room .... The A321 NEO LR would be amazing and, if leased, would save them from having to leave a wide body. I am Maltese and really hope they can improve the overall package! MLA-JFK - YES, PLEASE!!!
A few days ago I was on their 1 week old 9h neb their second neo. The cabin looks different to that of the 9h neo. I have to say that the legroom on the neb is way way better than all their other planes and it is very spacious.
@Xibby Really! I don't know how tall you are but being fairly tall, the seating was tight. I flew this 2.5 years ago at this point so whatever is going on now wasn't a probably before. Really weird how one flight I get it and the next because of the time of flight, we have to buy it.
Hello brother. We spoke a few months ago and you were very helpful. My trip is 3 weeks away, and I'm so pumped man.... 😜😄 ..... Just wondering how strict are Air Malta with weight when it comes to checked baggage and carry on baggage ? With checked baggage that goes into the planes belly I have 23 kilos. Most other airlines close their eyes if you're 1 or 2 kilos over but is air Malta very strict on this? And do they bother to weigh your carry-on baggage because with this I have 10 kilograms?
For for the late response. Me or the people I was traveling with never had an issue with carry on bags or checked bags. I would think though that they seem ok with a kilo or two over. They do check carry on weight I believe but yet again, don’t quote me on this. Sorry I don’t have a great response but I hope it helps.
Aviation Reports fantastic, thanx heapz 4 ur help.... One other thing, do u still remember if customs in Malta still search through your bag (and leave a big mess lol)? Thanx bruz.
@@garyhaber6957 Hi Im Maltese. I have travelled with AM a lot and I can tell you that they dont check carryons. I also suggest checking carry on sizes.
Me clavaron 80€ por el equipaje de mano sin ninguna razón: las medidas estaban inferiores a las exigidas en la web. Un autentico timo, estafa y robo. Lo he reclamado tantas veces y no me devolvieron mi dinero. Espero que mis 80€ les ha sacado de pobres...... Una vergüenza......
