Good job! Your video was very interestig and it shows all parts of the flight also the amazing view after depaturer in Cape Town. I'm interested in your further videos.
+mflieger thank you! I admit that I was extremely lucky with that weather in Cape Town, the days before the weather was really bad! In a few days I’m going to upload a new trip report. (FRA-ZRH) with Lufthansa’s Embraer 190LR. After that one unfortunately I don’t expect trip reports for the next months, maybe one in November, sorry 🙄.
nice trip report! A340 is the aircraft I really want to experience on. The IFE looks good, it's very responsive and offered a great variety of games and films
This plane flies over my village in Algeria around 22:00 and I always watch the flight back ( Cape town - München ) that goes over where I live at 18:00, I just love it.
It looks like British Airways, but it isn't! This plane belongs to South African "Comair" which operates flights in franchise for BA. For more information: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comair_(South_Africa)
Damn when I flew back to FRA from CPT I was on a A340-400 and sat on 037k. Window seat but because I'm a child and I was alone I had to swap with my teacher. The worst thing is it's a window seat and it was sun set and I had to sit in the centre rows.
I used to fly economy & occasionally business class between Jo'burg and various European destinations back in 2003 and 2004 and went with a number of airlines including Lufthansa, Virgin Air, SAA, BA and KLM and Lufthansa was by far the worst by a long stretch. Firstly there were only tv screens every 10 rows or so, with no choice obviously, compared to Virgin which even back then had screens in the back of every seat with a choice of channels and a gaming console too. Food was served around 2 to 3 hours after take-off, and only after it had been served did the screens show a film after 3 hours of repeated news programmes. Breakfast was served around 3 or 4 am, 2 or 3 hours prior to landing so if you were lucky you could get 4 hours sleep and arrive feeling rough as fuck. ScheissLufthansa. All the other airlines were good to excellent, as well as Japan Airlines and Asiana which I also flew on going to the Far East. Another utterly crap airline was from the good old USA (no surprises then) - United Airlines, possibly even worse than Lufthansa.
@@walkwithjonas7920 Really? I was normally able to get at least 6 hours sleep on long haul, economy or not. By long haul I do mean intercontinental flights of at least 10 hours.
@@simonh6371 I envy you! I can never sleep on an airplane, flew business for the first time 2 weeks ago and got some 4 hours of sleep and was already proud 😄
+Félix Maltchinski I’ve booked this flight directly from Lufthansa’s site, so I didn’t buy a codesharing flight ticket. I think this flight is also codeshared but I don’t know with which airlines..
