"Slowest climb"?? You probably have not flown in a GA plane before. Seems ok to me. Remember, the floats create a lot of drag and the plane takes a huge speed penalty. Not sure, but I imagine a good 10-15 kts.
A truly unique and great company. Cape Air and Shoreline officially "merged" but Shoreline retains most of it's character and will remain in New Haven and continue to operate their regular schedule with some new additions like NYS-Boston Harbor with the added resources of Cape Air! A great way to get too and from the city if you're ok with taking the train the other way. (HVN-NYS runs Thursday, Friday and sometimes Saturday in the afternoon; NYS-HVN operates Sunday and Monday mornings).
Saw that view of Manhattan many times from the crew chiefs door on a CH-53, but the twin towers were standing then. Always remember and never forget those who perished that day. Thanks to all now serving, those who have, and those who will in the future FLY NAVY!!!
