Southwest's Orlando, FL hub is extremely lucrative for both the airline and passengers. After all, it's one of the largest vacation cities in the country.
Southwest has been one of my favorite airlines ever since I was a kid, even though that's not a popular take. Most people consider it a simple low-cost shuttle to warm destinations, but to me, it's a charming airline that excels in fares and consistency.
Our aircraft was the special livery "Illinois One". It features a beautiful paint-scheme of an Eagle with a shield. It was inspired and rearranged from the Illinois state flag.
