Assembled from 7,000 still photos taken one every second, this video follows the annual trip by Lake Michigan's one and only high speed auto passenger ferry from the shores of the Great Lake to safe harbor deep in Milwaukee's downtown, at a winter berth in the Menomonee River Valley. There, the ship will undergo a rigorous offseason maintenance program before heading back to service in spring, once the ice has cleared from the historical Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Muskegon, Michigan ferry route.
