Hello nice vid and car,, as for waiting for the car too warm up before you drive it there is no need too do that with todays engine technology,, start car let it idle for 15-20 seconds for the engine oil too get round engine and your good too go, and yes your correct just drive it off boost till the car is at temp. for those who don't know and are curios...why did you mention the revs thingy and the engine temp, is it significant when it comes to fuel consumption especially on long road trips ?
Quick question is there any problem driving your car when the engine is cold.. why do u have to wait for the engine to warm up.. Why wait coz you about to take a long trip the engine will be warmer eventually.. Plz educate me,
It honestly is just an extreme precaution measure, on these newer cars it doesn’t matter much, they were built to start and go, on old cars it’s recommended to do so,( I could’ve just started and left nothing would go wrong)
If you read your car manual, any ice car manual. It will tell you to wait until the engine is warm before you start driving. It's best practice. New cars are set up for start and go in the morning. But the rule still applies. If you want to maintain the effectiveness of the engine.
