Trip officer ability appears to be a counter to weapon 5 of the Xindi hostiles that has a 100% crit chance and 1000% crit damage. So at tier 1 in round 1 you’d get that down to 800% and 550% round 2. Which is hardly an Epic ability, especially given weapons 1 & 2 hit for six times the damage of weapon 5 and weapons 3 & 4 hit for 4 times the damage and these weapons only have 1% crit chance so Trip doesn’t really do much for those.
With the Enterprise Arch series We at least need some Andorian, suliban, Temporal agent, and Xindi Crew along side The Core Crew to be true to the lore and have a balance of Hero to Villain crews. Also The Expance aka Augment space needs a full overhaul
T'Pal, might help make an acceptable 3rd Protected cargo crew that is sufficient for most uses but we shall see. In regards to the Xindi, Archer will likely be the Go home cannon suppressor (As Officer) then maybe another Spike/Janeway as Captain.
I remember free gala, I was the first in my alliance to suggest using that crew. To this day I don't get how they didn't know that would happen when they made the cardassian armada

Update: I just found out that T'Pol and Tucker aren't in the same group as Enterprise-E Picard, Data, Riker, Troi. They DO NOT synergize! Ignore the following old information: One additional thing I wanted to add, is that Trip allows for additional Synergy with Picard for a Hostile-Loot Crew. (Using Picard/Data/{Troi, Riker} only allows +40% & +20% synergy.)
#FREEGAILA was what made me decide I would never buy anything again. Also, in their recent announcement about Xindi, they had a line about how they were supposed to be challenging because this game should be about us learning to use the strategies of officer selection and abilities. Ooooooohhhhh no you didn't just say that! That was straight up insulting and dishonest after we used strategy and officer ability selection with Gaila and they punished us for it.
The crit stats in the ship info section is only an average. Every weapon can have, and usually does, have it's own crit stats. For Xindi especially; except for 1 of them all weapons have just a 1% crit chance. The exception gun has a 100% chance!
Of course....more mining officers....just what we needed 🙄. Sarcasm aside extra protected cargo will be handy when mining iso. The problem is getting them. Was never gonna get trip (rarely do with epics), but I'm going to be short of tpol shards (not the first time I've been short by only a few) because scopely put the remaining shards in ticket events, which I needed more tickets than they dished out (another pay to play?). Now, I might get E Riker through the TC basic battlepass (assuming my alliance can get a territory this time around) but the 4 shards for E Troi are mostly in the elite track. 😭
Value is for PVP ...he basically does same thing as the xindi ability. Should be huge anti-crit counter for Freeman HGWorf/Lorca crew! Don't have him yet so don't know if gonna reduce those crit hits down to 0 for peeps without crit floor(or close to 0) typically taking pvp from 3 guns x2 rounds that's 300% crit damage reduction for a rank 1 Tucker!
@@RevDeuce not sure I agree. even with prime + favor, people are running around with 500% crit damage, if you can bring that down to 200% thats alot of damage taken off the table.

Has Scopely just given up on common and uncommon officers? Like, it's fine to have Epic and Rare officers (with skills that are really crappy), but I have to massively eye roll their decision to only make officers with those levels.
She was an agent for MoS early in her career. That said, after she served with the science council on the Seleya (which the Enterprise finds in the exapnse). Was the deputy science officer for over a year.
@@RevDeuce Correct, but how is that a mining ship? they were charting space I thought not mining resources. They did mine in the expanse out of necessity but they didn't go into the expanse to mine.
While its logical that the next Enterprise officer set should be more anti-Xindi, both Tpol and Trip are pretty meh and not worth spending real $ to obtain. Hence I dont think the overlords of the overlords will be very pleased with the revenue stream this month
The rare officers used to be unlockable if you paid for the battlepass, I see that's not the case now. Another cash grab by the company who cannot prevent their game from crashing all the time.
these officers just continue the trend of ent e officers, that is reducing loop grinds and increasing resources. so instead of changing things in the game just adding more to reduce things.
Im lvl 45 in server 57. As server grows old and less active players protected cargo officer have less and less use because i almost never get hit when opc, nobody really cares about opc ships, i rather mine what i need than waste time hunting for opc players. I dont have Tpol and i dont see any real need to get it atm. With the PC officers i have im doing fine. About Tucker i dont understand scopely's way of thinking... It seems they like to contradict the story of Startrek by giving the officers abilities they never had in star trek history against races/species they never met
Seems like a lot of the recent rares are only owned by CCs and a few high level spenders. Very stupid that i could unlock each months epic but cant get the rare.
Yep, Ent-E Troi was buy direct, buy tickets, and now buy TC battlepass (and wait a couple months). Still need 6 shards to complete, waiting for an event or ALB. Maybe she'll be in next event store officer roundup. Confused why E-Data was so easy to tier and E-Troi was so hard to acquire, other than completing the synergy set.@@RevDeuce
Personally, I disliked that series so hard, the guy playing Cap. Archer, just bad acting straight through. Rest of the cast did a good job and saved the series from a rotten egg level. Just my opinion.
Star Trek Enterprise sucks infact there has not been a good star trek series since DS9.. Voyager characters were terrible.. Enterprise was mostly bad.. Picard just destroyed characters and destroyed villians and made the borg lonely lol.. Then Discovery 90% talking about feelings looks of oh how sad.. Then Strange New Worlds actually has some good stuff but balanced by some terrible stuff..
@@RevDeuce Oh so you enjoyed Riker arguing with Picard saying it was regulation to wait for help rather than take a risk to get out of their situation despite the fact they had said communications had been blocked and it would be only a few hours till they were dead and we had consistently seen in Star trek these ships take risks to get out of situations terrible writing.. Or an Ensign take over as captain in discovery.. why terrible writing.. Come on Rev these new star trek series barely have any relation to what star trek was about. Its utterly bad.. The Borg being lonely come on Rev.. I rewatched DS9 and the Next Generation and they so much better.. Also Stargate SG1 1000 times better actually applies scientific concepts a lot less discussing your feelings its not meant to be a day time soapy.. Oh and Geordi was completely character assassinated as he was going to let the federation burn rather than let his family be put at risk that man should not be in command of anything let alone be allowed to be in starfleet after that.
Loved Season 3 of Picard. Season 1/2 were meh, but the actors loved the direction their characters took, so I don't mind it. Lower Decks is freaking fantastic. SNW is freaking fantastic. Certainly better first 2 seasons than TNG had (though, 20 episodes vs 40). Prodigy is good (though directed at preteens). I enjoyed discovery post season 1. Sorry, like I said, a lot of us life long trekkies love the new trek. Been the only thing keeping P+ afloat and all of it's shows have been profitable. It's okay if you don't :)
@@RevDeuce No Rev Picard season 3 was all for Nostalgia the plot was frigin terrible the plot holes you drive a truck through and as I said the characters argued over dumb things that made no sense and Geordi was willing to let the federation burn for family this is the exact opposite of evolved humanity that is meant to be represented in star trek.. Who did not like seeing the Enterprise D again sure but look past that and the whole plot was dragged out and not particularly good.. Even season 1 and 2 of TNG had some better episodes than any of Picard. If you liked it I dunno what to tell you bad taste I guess.. And once again if you find making the borg pathetic is a good thing then ok..
You say bad taste, but millions enjoy this. It's okay, you don't like what others do. Doesn't make it trash though ^_^. I saw the plot, I understand the plot. I liked it. Not only is a lot of the newer trek likes, SNW in particular has been one of the most streamed shows on television. Maybe it's just not for you, and that's okay! Also, Voyager made the Borg pathetic 25+ years ago. That's old (literally. That's a very long time ago) news.
