The Final Day of 2023 would see not one, not 2, but 3 LMS Black 5's Grace KWVR Metals! 45212 Would Work the Railway's Mince Pie Specials, 44871 was departing the KWVR after a short Visit working the Railway's santa trains and 45407 would come to Take on water and Pick up 44871 inbetween running from Wenslydale - Carnforth.
Supporting 45212 was the KWVR's Pacer 144011.
We Start off at Keighley where we see 45212 running around her train after arriving with the first service of the day from Oxenhope. Next, we see the LMS stalwart running around at Oxenhope station after we joined her for a run up the Line. Back to Keighley where we see 45212 Powering her way up Keighley Bank with her 6 Coaches.
We move to keighley station were we see 44871 arriving from the headshunt and the Pacer arriving from Oxenhope.
We head over to keighley mainline station where we see 45407 'The Lancashire Fusilier' passing before she reversed into the KWVR station to take on water and Pick up 44871.
Next, we see 45407 & 44871 Departing the KWVR for Carnforth then on to the ELR. Our final location of the day is River View Haworth where we see 144011 heading towards Haworth station then, 45212 Barking towards Oxenhope. Sadly the shot of 45212 is in darkness but enjoy the amazing sound of a black 5!
