I had that happen a few days back while using ampharos, cost me a shield

I lost a match like this yesterday. Had a leaf blade on Sirfetch’d and lost a CMP tie to Swampert bc it wouldn’t let me press the button

@@alextomas6295 5:02 when that Granbull came in , Regi has 100 energy (You can count seeing whole battle). Now if opponent throws zap cannon (80 energy) and home slice shields , opponent needs 60 more energy to reach next zap cannon that is 6 seconds or 12 turns. During that time granbull would have thrown 4 charms (3 turn fast move) and regi would have survived it (because zap cannon debuff and it anyways survived 5 charms in battle without debuff). So this was the win con for opposition. Win con for homeslice was hope that opposition mess up and throws focus blast bet and he dont shield. So that way he survives and has shield even if opponent reach zap cannon after it. He played to it and won the game

@@jayasinghrathod8683 only debuff on hit? I’ve seen debuff on shield all the time

@@alextomas6295 Thats what I said , debuff would have applied to granbull even if he shields and then subsequent charms would have done lesser damage , which regi would have survived easily

@@jayasinghrathod8683 I guess I’m too thick to understand…. In simple terms can you say why not shield? Only way I can see it is enemy could only get one charge move off and ally has 1 shield

@@onboardcomb definitely double elite walrein if you don’t have one already. Ice shard lapras, blast burn typhlosion if you need a really good fire type, meteor mash metagross, double legacy dewgong, etc. it really all depends on what leagues and typings you think you’re best at but those are my favorites Edit: also frenzy plant venasaur is op

That’s a tough question. Xl mons are SO expensive as far as hard to get xl candy and stardust. Unless you think you have a good chance of getting a better iv spread in the near future, I’d say build it

@@AB-ee5tb Yeah this is so tough. We don't know when G-Meowth will be available again. Right now there's no one having a spare G-Meowth to trade with me. Maybe I'll wait till the next cycle of UL and then I'll decide
