i am international fan. i am very happy for this couple but i can also understand the k fans. many people have lost their faith in cube entertainment now. hyuna confirmed their relationship when cube has denied that they were dating. kfans arent angry at them dating. they are angry at hyuna for not handling the situation properly. whether the fans are international or korean we still want the best for our artists.

And a dating news like this could ruin an idol’s career (even if it doesn’t we’ve seen most of the idol couples break up shortly after going public). Andrea I think Hyuna will probably do fine as she’s been in the industry really long and got a strong fanbase which are really supportive to this whole dating thing. And she’s still working (she went to LA for a photo shooting today) and she’s still the major cashcow for Cube so they won’t let her go easily, at least not now. But it’s real bad for E’dawn and Pentagon as they’re still rookies and E’dawn’s not the only member who was accused of dating. This is a first even in Kpop history. Good thing is there are still many fans who support them. I just hope there’re more supportive fans than anti fans so Pentagon will end up okay. Otherwise Hyuna will take all the blames again for ruining their career. That’d be so not fair.

Polygon you know; maybe im wrong but i feel like Cube is trying it's best to sort things out. people are saying that things like cancelling schedules is not right, however i think it's the best option for now at least; since the fans are wilding who knows what would happen if they met with the idol face to face; not to mention the awkwardness and questions that could be asked. secondly, i think that Cube artists get on well with each other; it's rly noticeable. so i don't think that they are wrecking themselves just because they act like normal humans. the truth is Cube has the biggest balls in the industry, they apologised and they spoke about other things too- which was unnecessary but they did that anyways. overall i think people should keep in mind that the only reason why this situation is so uneasy is the mentality of the fans.

Polygon well; i am a fan. althought don't you think that if i wanted to make this comment about only Hyuna and E'dawn i would ONLY mention them. i didn't, i did however used terms such as "Cube artists", as i wanted to refer to everyone. regardless, i do care about other artists too; i saw what's happening (for example fancafe situation) and i genuinely feel bad that Pentagon catches all the punches.

shinta ristiyana well technically They cancelled their promotion so I guess you can say they are done but if it wasn't cancelled, they had also another performance to perform on August 4 and also they were about to have a fansign on August 5 or something along those lines, but yeah, they cancelled their promotion and this live performance was their last broadcast performance, it's a such a shame cause the fact that they cancelled their promotion because of the harsh fans and cause the dating news but I guess they did it to protect them from those harsh fans and the media for a bit until everything calms down, but I just to see them preform again in the future.
