ah, i think it's just out of habit/courtesy now. but essentially, the idea behind it is that the brands are not paying the television channel company for exposure so they shouldn't appear or be mentioned or else it's like free advertisement for the brand. it's also the reason why when you watch variety shows, they don't mention or beep out brands. :)

It's not just koreans. It's a legal thing. If they weren't sponsored or representing the brand in any ways, a production can not show a brand even if it's supposedly in a good way because they could be sued for misusing the label and showing the brand in a way the company didn't want it to.

disclaimer: i do know why they cover logos with tape, it's more to do with the advertising standards in korea, some countries are stricter than others when it comes to advertising and brand endorsements (and those of the such) and it just so happens SKor is pretty strict

thu trang le thi idk why people keep saying he's a third wheel, she literally dances with hui the same way she dances with Edawn but Hiiii has more singing than them so while he's singing he's focuses on his vocals and they're dancing together in the background. It's very clear that the concept was not to have hui as a third wheel. He doesn't even seem like a third wheel in real life where he's actually more talkative and interactive than edawn in their interviews.

One thing i've always noticed about Hyuna is that she pours so much into her performances. She's so much more than just her voice and her incredible dancing, she always has the most expressive facial expressions that really showcase whatever concept she is doing whether she is promoting with Triple H, 4 Minute or solo

I love how they play up their characters from the mv even on stage with their outfits and makeup. Like edawn is the kinda strung out member with his red eyes and kinda shabby (but he rocks it) outfits, hui with his preppy and put together look, and hyuna the cute/pretty/sexy character.
