For 16 years since WWE went TV-PG back in 2008, and it's about time for WWE to go back to the adult oriented content that I know from my childhood years in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The Attitude Era and the Ruthless Aggression Era was the best time in wrestling history, period.

Honestly I’m tired of you guys talking about the attitude era as if it’s whenever WWE is good or saying “it’s getting back to the “Golden Attitude Era”. That was nearly 20+ years ago, it’s time to move on and appreciate that WWE is heading to a new and improved era that has NOTHING to do with the attitude era

Nobody’s gonna believe me but the term “Reality Era” was coined in my friends basement in like early-mid 2011-2012 cause we were discussing how a lot of the promo work at the time was shifting into this worked-shoot type style ever since CM Punk’s pipebomb.. And we were talking about what the current era (at the time) should be called and my bro just says "Reality Era cause they always breakin kayfabe now” after that I posted the term on an ewrestlingnews forum talking about the current era and under a CM Punk and John Cena promo video and then a some time later my friend shows me the term being used officially by WWE in the game WWE 2k14 (I believe) and in other promotional material, blogs, etc. and after awhile everyone was calling it the “Reality Era” and I remember telling him “damn man we need some royalty checks cause we came up with this shit man” I often think of what that era would've been called if I never quoted my homie on an online wrestling forum.. We always laugh about it whenever the term comes up.. Again I know nobody will believe me but it’s the truth man.. Shout out to my guy Richie for quite literally leaving a permanent mark on wrestling history with that era name..

I wouldn't say its being brought back to the Attitude era, I'd more so say it's brought into a whole new era, which has been coined as the Renaissance era.

HHH has done Nothing edgy within the past 2 years. 1. The Decision to take the company back to adult oriented content was Nick Khan ,Ari Emmanuel and the Rock's idea. Hhh has 0 Corporate power in this newly merged company.😂👍 2. The company until the end of the year still has to adhere to the PG guidelines for both Smackdown and Fox atleast until 2025 or they will get censored. 3. NOTHING HHH has put on tv since the past 2 years has been Edgy or Adult oriented. It still Feels like they're playing it SAFE every week. There's NOTHING edgy about the Dom and Liv segments especially not when compared to the attitude era. 4. MOST people agree that the only time they felt like the attitude era returned was when Rock was doing his 'FINAL BOSS " gimmick. After he left it all went downhill after Mania 40.

Most of the fanbase is from the 80's 90's and earl 00's a way to draw the ones that drifted away back in would be to bring back the Attitude Era the vulgar no bars

I think its a good balance now and could go further but we dont need everyone cursing or throwing middle fingers left and right..if its called for and happens, the crowd will take to it and pop... Im don't know it will be but i guess I'll be getting Netflix back so i could watch it.

Todays wwe is nowhere near the attitude era. Nowhere near as popular either. Go in public, next to no one ever wears wrestling tshirts these days. In the attitude era, TONS of people were wearing austin 3:16 and nWo tshirts. Those days are long gone. Wrestling will never come close to that era. If this is the new attitude era, then where are all of the hookers, pornstars, raunchy segments, bikini matches, mud bath matches, etc. Where are the big stars like Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold, Goldberg, etc? There is no one even close to that level in todays modern wrestling either in wwe or aew.
