So the 36v is going backwards. The non bolt triple hammer beat the 36dc in most of your test the last time if i recall.

I have noticed that tools need a short break in period, so that might be at play here. But also, from everything I have read on Hikoki's japanese product page, this is rated for less torque than the outgoing model. This one is rated a 200nm which is less than the outgoing 215nm.

That's the new Hikoki WH-36DD There's not much of a difference between that and the previous WH-36DC. It's just that the new generation is a bit shorter, more compact and a bit light weight. And the stamped name Hikoki doesn't fade away like the DeWalt does. The name stamped is kinda like in the Makita but in both sides left and right side of the tool. The specs and the serial number you'll see it underneath the tool where the battery terminals are at.
