The Queen mother and her princesses. Love everything you ladies produce. The step by step you give makes all those intricate looking quilts look so easy to accomplish. Thank you for everything you give the quilting world.
This might be one of my favorite triple plays!!! I love when they all have a different way of doing things and watching Nat and Misty cringe at the heatbond moment was hysterical!!!!!
I always look forward to each Friday to see what Jenny is making. I especially love Triple Play. All the different fabric was gorgeous. I especially love the fall colors. Natalie’s guilt is gorgeous with the gray background. Thank your ladies for your beautiful designs and inspiration.
Natalie's a genius! Every time..... Nat just shines, and she's incredibly humble. I absolutely love Jenny's colors, so beautiful, and who doesn't love what Missy creates every time!
Me too! They become handy reference tools when cutting up layer cake squares for other quilts! Thank You, Jenny; I'll be using that handy tip from now on. ❤
I loved ALL of the quilted projects you girls created! Besides seeing your individual takes on a theme, the best part of Triple Play for me is all the little piecing insights, problem solving, and tips that organically come out of your conversation during the video! Please NEVER feel like you need to talk or sew faster, or even edit down these videos, because there are so many pearls of wisdom revealed in your authentic interactions! Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us! XO ~~Christy~~
So happy today is triple play :) It is always so fun to see what the three of You will come up with. The maple leaf is one of my favorites, I love fall colors/earth tones the most so leaves & bears paw patterns are pretty perfect for fall quilting projects. Jenny's leaves & geese runners are gorgeous, The geese around the leaves really add a lot to the block without distracting or taking away from the leaves. Beautiful! Misty that giant leaf is wonderful, What a great design. I love how You are not afraid to go very small or really big, traditional or modern, no rigid boundaries or limits and always fun :) Natalie I love how You captured the look of wind blown leaves & all that negative space provides a great opportunity to really play with FMQ designs. Love that this is a big quilt & there is just enough leftover pieces to make a bonus project (could be a runner or a scrappy throw pillow top) Amazing! Thank You ladies for all the work You do to bring us these great Tutorials.
I just love them all!! But Natalie's with that fabric line & the gray background-LOVE it!! Last year Pat Sloan featured a Christmas tree using mini charms & she used a gray background. I loved it so much, I found a gray to use for mine. I was so pleased with how it turned out. We continue to learn different methods, color variations & it prompts us to go "outside the box" on ideas 😊
I always look forward to the Triple Play videos..... they are my favorites. You ladies are so much fun to watch working together. I am not a fan of the leaf block but loved all of the projects you created. Natalie's was my favorite this time. One thing I really liked was watching different approaches to squaring a block. I just finished a quilt and used the technique Natalie used today (and taught in a previous video) using just a regular ruler with the 45 angle. There are lots of tools out there but I can't afford to rush out and buy them for each different block size I'm working on so using a regular ruler is great! Thanks for all of the time and effort you each put into the videos and quilt projects.
I Love that pattern Jenny . I have missed seeing the triple play and it happens to be my favorite. Wow you ladies never cease to amaze me, You all did so very well. My head is just filled with so much inspiration. Thank you so very much.
You ladies are awesome. I love the banter between the three of you during the projects. It's so wholesome family time. Each of you give great tips that helps us all. Thanks for all you do.
It was interesting to see how Natalie did her stems as that’s the way I was taught a long, long time ago. It always worked perfectly for me - a piece of cake!!!!
And yet another marvelous triple play video. Thank you! I'm watching this from Germany with my children (they are only here for the banter and the "fun" iron) - my 7yo wants to make her own quilt 🎉 the first practice blocks are in the making. I couldn't be any prouder. Thank you, Jenny, Natalie & Misty, for inspiring us and teaching us "easy" ways to tackle the (for us) "complicated " blocks! Please continue showing us your wonderful, inspiring, educational and fun videos 💜
Yea!! I always love Triple Play Day. I am always fascinated to see what you each come up with. I also like seeing how you each do things. It gives me new ideas on how to do things. Thanks so much for your great tutorials. They are such a gift to us. You ladies continue to teach us how to quilt. Many thanks!!
Boy oh boy! You girls all have the most remarkable brains but can I just say that Natalie really thinks differently in the most wonderful ways. I am thrilled at how easy she made her quilt seem to put together and yet it came out at such a big beautiful size that it will fit easily on a queen sized bed! In general I only make queen sized quilts because I want a soft quilt on every bed. To have a coordinating dresser cover is such a bonus! I can really envision this in my own room. I also am in love with the fabric set she chose and have been eyeballing it for a few weeks now and trying to find a good way to incorporate it somewhere. Great great job, Natalie! I'm going to copy evey inch of your project so thank you so so much!!
The three different creative eyes, three different approaches make these so great. The way misty turns her head when Jenny ironed the stem reminded people who turn away when getting blood drawn, hysterical. And Jenny’s like, make it work. Love it.
Always enjoy triple play. Love all three ladies and love the patterns that you did tonight. Normally do not enjoy the leave pattern, but the way that the ladies did them tonight was beautiful. loved the precuts that you used. Thank you so very much for your time and effort to encourage us and show new and bright ideas!
This is by far one of my favorite blocks and I love the variety you ladies put in it! Natalie- your quilt and bonus projects are just gorgeous!!! Thank you for your creative efforts and sharing!
I love Natalie's quilt! Plus, the bonus wall quilt, would be great for sewing on buttons or using to display collectible pins in the middle of the little squares.
You three are so creative and enjoyable to watch. You always make me want to make each pattern but also make me smile. Hope you all have a great day ❤️
Ooh the table runner (jenny's stole) gorgeous... Loved the longer one. And misty's be a great kids quilt, very colourful. And even though i hate grey (I do...dont judge me) little bit in love with this one, Natalie. Love it🌸
I love these triple plays because they do show that everyone does thing differently but it all comes out beautiful! You ladies all do such an amazing job! So much creativity all together! Thank you!
I love triple play, it’s so much fun to watch. I get such great ideas from watching. Wish my 2girls would join me to sew. Neither is interested in joining me to quilt.
Give them time. When you make quilts for them, the quilts will become cherished keepsakes. At a later date, your daughters may become inspired to take up quilting. ❤
I always enjoy the Triple play - I look forward to it every month. I like the projects and how the three of your interact and the fun of you each explaining your project to each other. It may be rehearsed, but it sounds very in-the-moment. Thanks for all of the tutorials and great inspiration. And fun!
Love the idea of also using Christmas fabrics. Thanks for adding the bright sample and planting the Christmas idea. Definitely will be pulling my Christmas fabrics right after dinner for a table runner.
I don’t have a long table nor many children but I do have a nice couch I want to protect from cats so I use long table runners for couch back covers and change them out often. The cats know this is where they can sit…not on the cushions. Lovely project. Thank you.
I like all 3 projects! Unique and charming. Each has fun design qualities. Thank you so much for this video. I always look forward to Triple Play 😊😊😊👍👍👍💕💕💕
They are all beautiful, but Jenny, I love your color selections the best and I love the runner!. Natalie and Misty's are beautiful as well, but I'm more drawn to Jenny's colors.
I love web piecing. It is so efficient and you make sure all your pieces are in the right position before you do the horizontal seams. Happy quilting all!
these are beautiful.......Natalie your quilt is the most perfect quilt .....for those that are more of a minimalist personality designer in their home......Jenny your fabric choices are my favorite for sure
Love when you three brainstorm. I really do. I wish I lived in Hamilton. I’ve bee n a collector from you fabric for almost 10 years. But haven’t finished one yet.. need a quilting group but can’t find one in south really south Jersey! I get busy soon! Love you Jenny and your girls n buoys!!
I am in love! So enjoyed the videos of the leaves, Dresden pattern. Reminded me of when my daughter and I quilted together. I'm excited to start quilting again. Jenny you are special.
On Misty’s quilt I would make bias tape out of the triangle pieces and then top stitch on the background. No lump on one side and flat on the other. Also less fabric to wrestle with.
Jenny, you make me crazy leaving your blade exposed after cutting, lol. I have done that a few times then lightly bumped it and cut the side of my hand. Close the blade after each cut!
I love how creative you all are! I truly love all of the projects, it's great how you plan out your cutting on the cardboard and we can just piggyback on your planning! As someone who's not great with the math I love ❤️ this!!
