Nat I am so proud of you!!! YOU are BEAUTIFUL,,,, I love to watch you sew and love your style and tricks to get the job done easier,,,you are wonderful!!! I’m a 70 yr old lady and you amaze me !!!!❤
You ladies blow me away with every single Triple Play- My favorite of your video offerings every month. I WAIT for them and count the days. It’s extremely comforting to me to see you, a loving and blessed family, ( your are all three each younger than l am) being so close and to have become so happy and successful. Mine was loving and happy, blessed to be together. My quilting for them enriched our lives, especially mine. My children were both professionals. My son helped me choose fabrics and coordinate colors, threads, placements. My daughter encouraged me and helped pay for fabrics. He had the time, she worked herself into the ground. They both had extremely stressful, demanding jobs. As children, they could sew and mend, and l always hoped that someday, after they raised their children and retired, that they could dabble in stitches too, to create and to please themselves. They passed away two years apart. So l am a grandmother-mother, with a home to run for another girl and another boy- my daughter’s children are mine to love and raise. I sleep with my littlest grandson’s, my son’s little boy’s baby quilt, that l made for him as an infant. He would have been fifteen this summer, but he was only four. I love to remember them and when they were so little with the quilts and clothes l made them. It took me three years to get over the shock and punishing myself simply for still being alive, but am finallyl back to making my machines buzzz and whirrrr as often as l can manage to do so! My health, strength, pain level, physical durability, energy, alertness, and PATIENCE are not at all what they once were. But my heart and soul are. SO I,WANT TO THANK YOU THREE LADIES FOR BLESSING ME WITH YOUR MONTHLY TRIPLE PLAY. Thanks MSQC for being a part of my life.
Triple play is the winner this week. All three are great. I love all the different fabric lines and with such big blocks I can see a lot of table runners.
I just have to say how great Natalie looks. Share your weight loss journey with those of us who are still struggling with our weight. ❤love your sisters quilt! I love all of these quilts😊
Fantastic tutorials!!! I love all of the different blocks! Thanks to all three of you ladies! It’s always so nice hearing you laugh together and compliment each other! I compliment all 3 of you!
All three were wonderful. I really like Jennies way of trimming the blue and white squares so the last blue square is smaller than the other two. I like my perfect trimmer also but found on the project I bought it for (a bazillion churn dashes) that I needed to put the stitches just a hair below the line on the ruler to get the correct size. If not my squares were too small. And lastly! Gosh I wish everyone would package layer cakes folded. Either that or they need to make it a law that they manufacture has to provide a picture off all the fabrics on back when they seal them in a bag. I usually try to find a jelly roll of the same line to get a better idea of all the fabrics instead of messing up the layer cake in the store.
I search for the fabric line including the word ‘yardage’ and those fabrics sold by the yard, of the line, come up. Allowing us to clearly see more of those. That generally gives a better image of more of the line. Hope this helps. I agree and have been surprised at times. Happy sewing 🧵.
I love triple play!! It is so true that each one of you brings something different to the table. I'm glad that you each design and think differently. When I was in college I had a professor that I adored but just could not grasp what he was explaining, the next day we had a visiting professor, she briefly went over the same material and it just clicked!! I understood what was being taught!!
Absolutely love the way you all encourage each other. I always feel so happy to watch the 3 plays. I am loving the holiday fabric! Keep these wonderful videos coming. Great to see your smiles and cheerful sewing!!!
I love your triple play. As you see I am searching and watching back ones also. They are all so pretty that I end up wanting to make them all. As you know I CANT.
Triple play always opens up the creative thinking process. Taking one concept and doing it three different ways is so enjoyable. I see so many different blocks and knowing that there is no wrong way to make them work is a confidence booster. Thank you so much.😍❤
Beautiful ❤️ I'll have to try those courthouse steps! They're so cute! Of course, now I want to make all three projects. We just moved into another state, another house... Downsizing. Can't wait to get my quilting supplies set up.
Late to the fair, me. But what a beautiful and fascinating trio of projects! For each one, I kept thinking, "Wouldn't that make a gorgeous Christmas quilt!"
Triple Play day is my favorite Friday. All of the blocks are spectacular! I want to give you all a star for today! Thank you so much for all you do for us!
One that runs. Love it. I'm away from home for a couple of weeks, determined to work on a quilt. Have borrowed a 1966 Singer, which I've cleaned and oiled before beginning. She's a solid old girl, little grace or finesse, but I'm so enjoying her, physicality.
Great variety. Love the red , white and blue themes. Plenty of time for the 4 th. I don’t host it but I always love to bring the hostess a gift. Lots of possibilities. Thanks Jenny, Natalie and Misty. You Rock!
Ladies, you blew all three projects away! They're all fantastic looking & I definitely need that triangle square up ruler! Hate squaring triangles up after pressing them into squares 😱 Have a great weekend🤗
I always love seeing how each quilter interprets the theme in totally different ways. Natalie, your design is amazing! I can imagine this is lots of different color ways. A big thanks to all of you!
I just love my 5 inch ruler as well as my 2.5 inch ruler I have them all...And have given away many as a set to my quilter friends...😊 Good job ladies...
When I first started quilting about 6 or 7 yes ago. I made a courthouse steps uult for my daughters birthday and she still uses it. Along with other quilts I have made.
Thank you very much for this wonderful triple day with all of you. They were absolutely beautiful quilts and a fantastic table runner - I love your Trple Days and hope for many more. Greetings from Sweden😍😘
What a fabulous tutorial! The quilts and table runner are beautiful and simple to make. Your designs are always eye-catching and inspiring. Thank you so much. Triple Plays are always a joy. 🥰❤️🧵🪡
Fantastic quilt tops! Red, white and blue quilts are one of my favorites to make. Love to see them anytime, anywhere. Thanks for sharing your creative expertise. Blessings to y'all.
Yes Nat my drawers are full of stuff but I have learned to use office sorter trays. These keep my utensils/tools organized. I also have my on the table cups to keep scissors, pens/pencils, etc, so about 4 cups and a ruler stand for my main rulers while the rest are on hooks. I try to keep it as organized as possible because my bedroom is my sewing space or as my sister says I sleep in my sewing room.
I love Natalie's quilt! I am finishing a red.white, and blue star quilt and have lots of extra HST of a solid and background. Those blocks using the HST and background are perfect! I can use mine up that way for a second quilt that looks different than the first
I just ordered 2 panels for Quilts of Valor quilts. Of course I am thinking of blocks to use in these quits. These blocks are looking very promising 🎉🎉❤
I like Natalie’s tip about stacking all the, block pieces for the same blocks together so you don’t have to keep redoing the layout. I’ve already done my shopping for all three quilts as I love R/W/B combinations any time! I just happened to share a whole bolt of a beautiful white with a slight background pattern with a friend so I have plenty of white background fabrics - I’ll think about sashing later😊
😍 I love this Triple Play and the variety of Spinning Stars. This would be a great pattern to make Valor Quilts! Thank you for always showing tips and tricks to help make quilting so easy (looking 😉)! Signed, Newer Quilter, Self-Taught using your MSQ tutorials! ❤️
Good evening Ladies, Natalie's quilt looks like two entirely different blocks when they are all put together, even though i know that it is exactly the same block, my eyes see two different blocks, gorgeous Natalie. Jenny, your blocks i love how you have incorporated the navy and white blocks to make a criss cross in your quilt which looks like they go behind your star blocks. Another very different quilt and another beauty. Now Misty's runner to my eyes looks like it is her little family of five, her, Jake and the three children, but that's because i really should curtail the imagination that goes around in that empty head of mine. I love those tiny courthouse steps blocks, they just add that little intricate detail because they are so tiny. Thank you ladies for all your efforts that you make to share with us, i know i appreciate your insight and talent. Crafty hugs from Norah, Glenochil, Scotland
