Also if you're curious, how to get to the secret trombone boss in the mobile sonic 2 is to fall in the spike pit in mystic cave. It was replaced in the remake with an entrance to the level.

... number 13 is Hidden Palace from Sonic 2. it is Other Place then Sonic 3's Hidden Palace. who knows who and Why build it? Maybe it was Hidden Palace... But for Hedgehogs?! btw it can be accesed via Sonic 2 mobile Version in Infamoues PIT OF DOOM.

Did you notice the metropolis boss is nowhere to be seen? Maybe because the fight is already realistic (assuming he can make little clones) or so unrealistic you can't make it realistic at all.

that unfamiliar stage with the large trombone was a stage and bossfight from the IOS version of sonic 2, bringing back the scrapped hidden palace zone.
