Ingredients
-for the dough
2 cups lukewarm water
⅓ cup olive oil or vegetable oil
1 ½ tbsp. instant yeast
1 tbsp. sugar
¼ cup dry milk powder (optional, for a softer texture)
About 5 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
Instructions
Dough Preparation
-Mix the lukewarm water, oil, yeast, sugar, and dry milk powder (if using) together.
-Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until the dough forms. If it's too sticky, dust your hands with flour and knead until smooth and elastic.
-Cover and let the dough rise for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
Pizza Sandwich
-Spread tomato sauce over the dough.
-Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and a bit of oregano.
-Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 20 minutes.
-Fill with cooked, shredded meat sautéed in butter and spices, lettuce, cheese slices, tomato, and pickles.
Garlic Bread
-Sauté garlic in olive oil until soft, then mash it.
-Mix cream cheese, Italian seasoning, and a bit of olive oil.
-Brush the dough with olive oil, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
-Bake for 15-20 minutes at 180°C (350°F).
Za'atar Bread
-Spread olive oil and za'atar mix over the dough and sprinkle some mozzarella on top.
-Bake until golden and crisp.
