What I like about this cover is the character dynamics and the use of the Bad Ending variants of the characters. For the latter, it's more appropriate that their Bad Ending counterparts are used instead of turning them into the Xenophanes's tortured souls. And while they don't go in order like in the original DDLC or Bad Ending, their order actually makes more sense to me due to the character dynamics. Natsuki and Tails have arguably been through the most trauma, due to harassment and abuse from others, as well as them being shortest in stature. (In Tails's case it's his fellow foxes who bullied him for his twin tails and having to defend his now retconned(?) home island in Tails' Adventure. In Natsuki's case it's her father's abuse of her that led to trauma and her stunted growth, which was also due to her limited eating from her abuse.) Sayori and Knuckles are the most isolated and lonely, leading to their own issues, and are arguably the most impactful members of the cast within their respective debuts. (Isolation led to Knuckles's naivete and Sayori's depression, in addition to other baggage she has dealt with in her life.) Yuri and Robotnik are both the most antagonistic and have their own moments of sinister cackling, in addition to being arguably the most deranged. (Need I explain this one any further?) Monika, considering that Bad Ending involves her being unable to get involved at all, doesn't make much sense being here, but I can excuse that since she's so often put in place of Xeno in Sonic.exe and Doki Doki Takeover crossovers. Excellent cover!
i can think of a way to involve monika but it would require new sprite, and some headcanon like stuff my mind thought of the line in the original where monika says "can you hear me?" then it goes into a first person like view from monika's percpective where she is in the red code place and on the screen is bf by themself
If you wanna involve Monika, a good way you can do that is see her parts as her trying to reach out to BF and failing. She is able to reach out for a short time before her friends drag BF back to them. The static transitions helps this idea a little bit and the false static transitions in Yuris part can be seen as Monika losing more of her connection to BF/Her friends and is starting to fail even staying connected.
I was thinking to make a more evil Monika work, instead of trying to fix everything because she's concerned about her friends, she's trying to do it so she looks like a better person for MC (who could be BF or something)
Monika is getting Sonic.exe's place because of how involved they are in the story in OG DDLC Monika is the cause of Sayori's death which does lead the rest of the game in a dark path where Monika's goals are to be with the player (because she is obsessed with the player) meanwhile in sonic.exe it's sonic going around the world killing everything he sees including his best friend (not sure if Natzuki connects well here) his rival (Sayori, which does fit a lot here because if it's not Monika doing this shit Sayori will) and villain (Yuri, and MattPatt did theories Yuri is a greater "evil" then Monika)
Yuri's laugh with those POV sprites are too good lol. Also yea, TT dokidoki cover just feels way more alive with these sprite's. Love how you used the madness part of sayori's song too. Overall hella good man

My head canon for this is that this is an alternate bad ending in which Monika's residual data mutated and formed a complete replica of her, which quickly assumed control and enslaved everyone in the game. Natsuki was eventually corrupted beyond repair, Yuri was driven insane, and Sayori was mentally broken and gave up hope. Boyfriend has been forced to sing songs for quite a while, and Girlfriend…well, you can see what became of her. To put it short, everyone is now trapped inside this Monika copy's hellish realm, with no hope of escape. The real Monika, just like the actual bad ending, is unable to get back inside the game and can only watch in horror as her friends are broken and tortured for the rest of eternity…by HER.

If I had to guess it's because Triple Trouble has been out for nearly a year now and this song has been covered into complete oblivion. Guitars, drums, orchestra, piano, not to mention DDLC and all those variants on top of the sonic.exe variants. Anyone who has ever played this game knows about this song/mod. Widely praised as one of the best mods ever made... Basically, this song has been made and played to death. And this cover just happened to be at the butt end of the interest sadly. That's why I think this video won't rack up mega views. Triple Trouble is an amazing song. Let's move on now, shall we?

The thing is this is super good, but something I'm sad about is that you didn't use boyfriend's sprite when he goes insane, like when Natsuki goes insane, so she goes insane and so does boyfriend, that's what I mean like, but it's still super good it's maybe the best fnf cover I've ever heard apart from the epiphany sung with lyrics.
@@TimSoarer If I can recall Natsuki's death in the fake end happens earlier than Yuri's death, this is to consider than Natsuki didn't really die in the first place, instead outright deleted. Other than that both of them did disappear at the same time so it wouldn't matter who's part goes where if it's chronologically organized with their deaths.
