By far my favorite video! I watch all your videos and this one was amazing especially liked the drone footage. I have a 2016 3500 dually that I use everyday for hotshot trucking. So I dig it when you have footage of the towing rig! Keep it up bro.

I love that area of NJ ! From that drone shot of the truck-stop I know exactly where that is ! We have some pretty big lawn spraying accounts up there. Always have to remember not to do warp speed past the S.P. barracks just down that side road.

Usually for some reason, performance vehicles with certain engines, that got so much power, tend to lope. Got a 95 dodge 3500 race truck that naturally starts loping sometimes when idling. I start the truck up, then once it’s sitting for like a minute it starts loping. Also... I got a drag car with 2500hp. It’s a blown engine in it, it’s natural idle is loping. The engine just revs itself. It’s badass

Greg, I would check the Fuel Control Actuator(s) on the CP3's on the 05. Made my 07 5.9 run like new again.

I understand huge injectors on the 05 but aren't those egts climbing a bit fast? barely in the throttle on a slight incline and hitting 1200+? only trucks I've seen hit those temps are solid block trucks

Curtis Gillis Needs more boost to keep EGTs down and it probably doesn't start moving enough air to keep them down until you get on it a little

I'm sure you have said this in earlier vids but....i have 08 g56 and 40' gooseneck. I put valair dual disc in and it is very jumpy with trailer and air bag helpers. Does your rear suspension bar setup help with that and what clutch you run in tow rig?? Excellent channel too!!

Greg how did you color match your truck? I tried multiple shops around my area and they will not paint my mirrors, grill, bumpers, etc because they say it will flake. Any tips?

Be crazy if someone built a head with dual injectors a cyl so you could tune to run independent or together depending on load and have 100% stock street driveability. Maybe 10 years from now that'll be OEM if the truck power wars keep going on. I know high power imports are already doing dual injectors with ecu' s that cost more then some trucks lol. Probably a pipe dream for diesel trucks LOL

Egts are a lil warm before the spinners lite . I take it you running forged pistons in that monster? Those injectors must be like 500% overs if thats as clean as the tuner can get it. There are a ton of modifiers in the tune that can be adjusted to clean that up some. It does take time though but only so much you can do with that much fuel and lower compression.

Hi Greg, I’m wanting to build a triple turbo (or big twins) Cummins with a goal of 1500+ lb/ft torque. Just wondering in your opinion which engine 12v or 24v is better. I’m going with the 2nd gen body. I’ve seen a lot of your videos and you seem to do a lot with both 12 and 24. Or will it really not matter with all the bulletproofing required?

I gotta be honest buddy I hate watching videos where guys make a thumbnail and you came to watch the truck but the people vlog or talk for awhile.. but I really enjoyed watching you're whole video! Good job brother! I got a 2016 f250 6.7 pushing about 600 to the wheels. Nothing compared to that lol but launching diesel trucks in 4 is such a killer.

Hey Greg I know you have huge injectors and pumps etc but you should be able to clean that tune up a bit still. You should be able to start it normally and also idle fairly clean. What kind of duration/rail pressure/timing is it running at an idle?

Cummins life That would take an extensive amount of live tuning which would hurt off the line performance if the idle was clean? More than likely this is due to the actual nozzle flow rate than the size of the injectors

I've driven a highway truck that had some kind of the same tune where it was on or off. All the new trucks surge and have a rolling idle now, but this was an older one. If you could get it into that pulsing pulling in 2nd or 3rd gear you could keep it right there thru the next 13 shifts and it would just be moving. Would throw it self 5-7 km/h over the governor and I don't think I've driven another truck that could get it 1 over the governor on flat ground.

Is that pyrometer sender mounted in the exhaust port in the head?? Jesus. My 12V sits about 325° at idle, pyro mounted before the turbo. I’ve never hit more than 1200° in it, and I’ve gotten into it pretty hard.
