The Y2k aesthetic for Acid Angel From Asia is more like Asia's (Korea, Japan, and China) fashion in the early 2000s so having Asia in their name makes sense. Compared to New Jeans, their Y2K concept is more on the Western side.

The 82 thing at the end is a teaser for the next subunit (KR)ystal Eyes, since +82 is the korean dialing code. And yes, the concept for them is different. This was supposed to be "acid pop" and from the sound of it, KRystal Eyes was a bit more elegant. Also I love how the whole MV is them getting caught dancing in random places 😂 The girl in the beanie is Hyerin!

You will regret it, if you miss all their content. The girls are funny, the management knows what fans want. For me the best thing in 2022 in kpop is Triples. If you start watching them, i will watch with you again for sure :)

I think the goal for this group is to gain a social media following, and to make the idols relatable, so the y2k slower down to earth aspect suits their targets I think. Makes them more approachable than if they say, went full girl crush for example! Also I do not buy the "carbon neutral" nft idea either. It still uses way more than if you were to make a similar system where you just buy your votes digitally anyway. We will see if it works out, but it might turn too many people off the group by principle.

I noticed the newjeans similarities as well, and personally I’d love if this type of music/concept becomes a big trend (like how that 70/80s retro concept took over for a while)

I know the daily videos are gonna be too much for a lot of people, which is totally cool. But they really are effective. It felt so awesome to watch these girls debut today after watching their journey for months, I feel so proud of them. They killed it, and I'm really excited for Krystal Eyes next 🔥

Why is no one talking about the Wednesday Adams outfits?????? very october/halloween if you ask me, also thought it was cool it was a pair of black wings behind them because acid angel doesn't sound like an innocent or super nice angel and white is the color of innocence.

Its not to late to get on to their daily signals... its like 10mins. Max per day you can breeze to them easy... and modhaus is a not that harsh on copyrights you you can upload on youtube... or if you want the have a discord on the link is on the mv... that discord is run by the company itself...

I think u got it wrong , this is not y2k style . This is gen Z style . The clothing, the attitude all indicates gen Z here . And the music is fresh but far away from new jeans style . Newjeans also has fresh type song and MV but they are having y2k concept still now . And acid angel is about gen Z .

i love the daily videos which are easy to watch and catch up since i watch weekly and theyre shorter since daily plus the whole company and group is cool i dont care about the nft portion and not wasting money personally since i broke but the voting is cool but yeah itd be cool if you did some reactions from the very beggining which i think started late may starting with one member each since thats how it works about 20 days between members so binge until a new member is introduced thats the easiest way to catch up in the beginning they were shorter too then got a little longer in the middle with occasional 10 minute or so vids but now theyre shorter again recently since theyve been working more theyve stopped right now introducing members while debuting but im sure itll start up soon after promotions plus its cool seeing each new member get introduced and how the dynamics change plus watching them improve daily since some have almost no experience while the 2 pnation former trainees in this song are pretty experienced nakyoung bibis sister and hyerin the maknae of this unit plus former survival show girls theyve gotten so much closer its adorable but if u dont want too its understandable its long but its better to catch up now then in the future after they debut officially. 200 videos sounds like a lot but if you take it a member at a time you should catch up pretty quickly especially with how short the beggining vids are

I think it's not really about the suits ad button-ups and dressing chic and cool but more so about adults viewing youths to be rebelious when they expressed themselves. The music video to me feel less like we're the cool kids and more like we just want to be free and be ourselves kinda deal.

i know you’re probably not aware, and a lot of people have been saying it as well, but tripleS + this specific subunit’s concept has already been decided far before newjeans’ debut!! a lot of people have been saying “the newjeans print” and stuff like that but this concept was planned out before newjeans was even thought of

i liked the song but im always apprehensive around the use of NFT's. Carbon neutral NFT's sound like a lie to make the consumer feel better about the purchase. Jaden Jeong - not a fan but i don't think the girls and team behind them should suffer for it. interested in their new music and the rest of the group but I don't think I'll be that involved with the group passed listening to the music

Ignoring the NFT idea, which is a big red flag in itself: I like the music video, the style and the four girls itself seem to be charming. But since we already have NewJeans, the style might look less "fresh" (or "authentic") and more like an "unoriginal ripoff". The song itself is ok but lacks "impact". Its a bit "bland" and "forgettable" failing to establish an unique identity that a rookie group in todays crowded landscape needs. Lastly, having 24 members in rotating and changing constellations makes it much harder to form any identity and for listeners to get into them. It heavily hurts their chances to stay relatable or memorable outside a dedicated small core fanbase. Since we also already have Loona, even this big meta concept isn't anything new anymore. In the end, I'm not sure if it will be enough to stay financially viable.
