Brook and I headed offshore with her family on the 4th of July in search of dolphin aka Mahi Mahi. We loaded up on live pilchard for bait and headed out in search of weedlines. We caught tons of dolphin, but most were undersized and we ended the day with 5 keepers. We caught one keeper tripletail and took it home for dinner. The fish was absolutely delicious and especially in the cast iron pan recipe!

I think it would be a cool video idea if you try throwing a top water frog in the seaweed. I know they aren’t made for that but it would jus the interesting since most people aren’t able to fish directly in the grad patch.

Man do I miss fishing in Florida. I grew up in Brandon, but I've fished out of Pompano Beach, Clearwater, John's Pass, Siesta Key, Key West, Duck Key, Gandy Bridge Marina, Bullfrog Creek, and Hubbard's Marina many MANY times. Last time I was down there in June of last year my best friend and I went out on the Gulf Queen Charters out of Clearwater. We used to go out on that boat every other weekend for years when I was a teenager.

Dolphin are awesome fish, that same non keeper in June or July can end of being a gaffer dolphin in October. We catch them pretty easily and maybe take them for granted a bit, but what an awesome fish to consistently catch.

Great recipe for the tripletail. Our camp recipe for fish and chicken is similar. Instead of salt use chicken soup base, onios, tomatoes and a mushroom variety with white wine wrapped in foil.

I absolutely love Florida and Florida fishing it is so much fun I have never been out on a charter boat fishing but I have had family that has and they tell me how fun it is I enjoy watching these catch clean and cook videos and I would love to come down there and learn the tricks to catching those big beautiful fish do you ever take anybody out that watch your videos Next time my fiance and I come down their fishing I would love to take her out on a charter boat do you ever take chargers out

The Trippletail are a rare catch in Australia but definitely good on the chew if you get one, they are often called Jumping Cod down here.

I swear by mustad hooks also , I fish for big king salmon and I’ve ever hook imaginable break but never once have I had a mustad fail on me , I keep hundreds on hand in ammo cans with desiccant packs because if they ever discontinue my favorite hook I need to make sure I have enough to last me a good long time . There’s truely none better

Come do some lake fishing on Table Rock in SW MO. Will not disappoint. Not to mention ypu have Taneycomo for trout. It's definitely not ocean fishing but the Ozarks have alot of fun to offer.

Have you ever seen the tripletail that Robert Arrington and his buddy has caught? That thing had to have been close to 25-30 lbs. It was the biggest tripletail I've ever seen in my life. Crazy...

Victor great job as usual and of course you got me hungry next time you have a fish with a blood line even if it's fresh put it in a pan blood side up pour salt on the blood line leave it for about 5 minutes and rinse it off with club soda I know it's weird but just try it you'll see God bless you guy's 👍

Crustaceans are bulky. They need a lot of space in their stomach to hold all the food and so they need a large ribcage.

They were using Mustad bucktail jigs. White and pink. Blue runners will literally hit anything that moves, and any bait you put in the water.
