I literally saw an Ac rouge land in barcelona 2 days ago as i was waiting for my flight and i was like "shit i havent seen a video about them at all" and now, here it is. Bless you for reading my mind
Been watching your trip reports for a few weeks now. Nice to see one on a Canadian airline. I've heard both bad and good about Rouge. Apparently you had a great experience with them. Glad to hear it!
Rouge a319's are barley OK for legroom especially those over 6 foot. There is really no upgrade other than sinking significant dollars into old style business class. So like Westjet they offer little to no value in terms of upgrading seat selection. The seats themselves are old with poorly applied black fabric. I think a re-use and re-cycled Air Canada (Rouge) is a flop. They create brands like this to push the competition in their publicly traded duolopoly to the margins at least when we are talking about Canadian domestic flying. It is an attack against what little competition there is in Canada.
Flying Rouge from Calgary to Toronto in August, thank you for sharing how the airline is so I know exactly what I’m getting into. Awesome trip report, as always!
Don’t expect thefood to be “free” in economy because it’s only on long-haul flight to Europe. For national flight and the Caribbean fl you need to pay for it in economy
When I seen Air Canada Rouge, I knew it was gonna be a video and I was hoping for it to be the one route they have from Calgary to Las Vegas. But when I seen Montreal I was like as long as it is from my country I am happy about. I love to see you do trip reports from Canada 🇨🇦
Great video felix. Finally a trip report from my hometown . I am agree whit you when you say that yul his a nice airport, in my opinion this airport his the most cleanest in Canada. I was surprise that the meal on rouge economy class was included in the price of the ticket, i flew a couple of time whit rouge ( destination cancun and Florida) in both premium rouge and economy and im economy it a buy card menu, maybe it’s was because your was on a long- haul flight. Once again nice video and i hope you have enjoy your trip in the montreal area
I think they're supposed to bring some of these back from storage in 2021. I'm supposed to fly to Budapest from YYZ next summer and it says it's on a 767.
Awesome! Glad to see that you guys made a trip report departing from my hometown! However you really didn’t choose the best airline lol, you should of tried Air Transat, named the best vacation airline in the world. Keep up the amazing work though!
Make sure you fly C-GTSD as seen on my channel, it’s 2-4-2 seating 😝 But seriously, we both know that an airline’s quality doesn’t come down to only the seat width! People like them more than Air Canada for a reason 😉 Anyways, thank you again for your video!
that air hostess at the end needs a refresher course on professionalism ... wait until the passengers are safely off the plan before you use your phone or whatever it was she was fiddling with ...
If anyone flew the AC mainline 319's and then experiences Rouge it such a steep drop off on all levels. Will say though the old 319's are holding up well but the "retrofit" was poorly done.
The international gates at Dorval/Trudeau are so much nicer than they were not so long ago. I do find it funny that the Canadian airports also use that American lady’s voice to make announcements in English. She’s Carolyn Hopkins and she lives in the north of Maine in the USA.
North American English is pretty much the same everywhere, really. Canadians like to say some words like gagare differently but apart from that it's the same.
Maybe this question is not correlate with the trip report, but how is the quality of sony rx100 mark II? Is that good for vlogging like this (trip report, point and shoot photos)?
Wow😂! Flew Montreal-Rome in July 2015 when that route was still a rouge route and not mainline AC. Nearly the Same exact dinner as what u had on this flight and same breakfast as well. I’m glad AC keeps “changing things up” after 4 years!*
On a long flight, legroom is important, so you might want to edit your title to (ECONOMY - EXTRA LEGROOM). The food looked adequate for Economy, but no IFE except on your own devices is a downer. If the ticket price was low, this is what you can expect.
Quite simply it is awful. This is what separates Lufthansa from Air Canada. Air Canada is second rate with customer service when it creates this little monster.
