Air Europa is about to open a subsidiary in Brazil to operate domestic flights. Until recently, that would not be possible, because Brazilian laws restricted controlling ownership of airlines based in the country to Brazilian nationals, but the laws were recently changed to allow full foreign ownership, and Air Europa was the first foreign group to come to the market. Air Europa has a lackluster reputation for its service (which you confirmed in this video), but it will still bring much-needed competition to a large country that after the demise of Avianca Brasil, has only three major airlines (LATAM Brasil, Gol and, in a distant third place, Azul) and a big market, with vast distances, a population of over 200 million and in spite of the current economic crisis, great long-term economic potential. The name and other details of the Brazilian subsidiary are not yet known, but it's expected to start flying some time in 2020.

I have flown a lot with aireuropa , a suggest always take the 787 or the A330-300 not the 330-200 because the -200 has 299 seats and the -300 has always 299 so you will find better legroom on the A330-300

Me too, but nevertheless: It's a real shame Air Europa does not serve any salad or vegetables. On all my long-haul flights always just chicken and potatoes (or pumpkin), never anything fresh. I mean, it's a 10 hour flight... KLM or Air France are doing much better on the Europe-Colombia-routes in my opinion (besides from that they use the same aircraft and all have competible IFE).
It looks like Air Europa met the required expectations for economy class, though their food catering needs some improvement. Decent legroom (it's almost never "good" in economy), good IFE, wifi, outlets, pillow and blanket. How about earphones? Some airlines have a basic amenities kit for economy on long-haul flights, but I guess not here.
Bogota is at the moment, a connecting hub for a lot of airlines, and also for its position at almost the top of South America, which under airline alliances, travel to Bogotá, and from there, to Madrid. That is why Avianca, Iberia and Air Europa have so much traffic.
