I have flown only Economy and it was no different from the other Economy classes I have flown. I felt more at home and food was familiar even in the Non-India segment. Crew was as pleasant as I find everywhere. I would fly them anytime.
I have seen many videos on air India and they have always put me off flying with them, but this is the first I have seen whete every thing looked really really..I was especially excited about the food; as an Englishman who adores Indian food, it looked fabulous, a spicey main course with an ice cold lager. I think it was close to perfect..just writing this is making me hungry..well done great critque. Cheers Harry
@@e-pi5189 Vistara is a very small airline with very limited routes compared to Air India. For now, we are stuck with them and other middle eastern airlines. But, most of the people who traveled with Air India in economy class had a good experience with them.
I travelled Air India from Heathrow a few years ago and was fearing the worst having not researched the airline before booking to be met with horror when i told people who i was about to fly with. Couldn't have been more different to the horror stories. I was in economy and the food looked much like this. I believe that the international flights are all of a similar standard, but internal might not be as good.
I just wanted to say that the videos you create are awesome. They provide us with the information we need before choosing an airline to fly with. Keep up the good work.

I have seen many reviews of Air India and again I say they just don't get it. The Business Class seats are from an era ...say 20 years ago ? No menu in Business Class is not good. Even though the food might be ok ! I doubt I would fly with them despite what looked like a reasonable flight!

I have never found issues with Air India services be it International or Domestic. In-fact in domestic they have the best food service in Economy. Their cabin crew is very efficient though they give an impression of being relaxed .
Air India does not seem like a bad airline; especially the business class and first class. I've never flown this airline, but the inflight service reminds me of PIA (although the food is somewhat different), which I prefer to North American airliners anyday.
Hmm interesting if all airport got a big upgrade on lounge to have a free delicious food or others Air India needs a big upgrade for first class and upgrade the IFE on all 787 for year 2019
I once had to make a last minute trip from Doha to India. The only available flight was an Air India from Bahrain to India via Doha. That was the worst flight experience of my life. It was so hot inside that the passengers were fanning themselves with magazines and whatnot for the first couple of hours before the air conditioning kicked in. Not to mention half way through the journey they ran out of drinking water bottles. Such a nightmare. Good to know that isn't a pattern across the board.

Frankly speaking you are an inspiration for our future travel . And since I live in Mumbai , I know the pros and cons of Air India . This flight to Vienna , Paris , Madrid , Stockholm , Sydney, Singapore etc from New Delhi and vice-versa are all red-eye flights. This was a great video . Loved watching this !!!!!!!. I keep some time from my daily schedule to watch Simply Aviation. Everywhere I travel , I recommend my friends to watch your videos to get a fair idea how to travel from your source to your destination.

The food you were served was if I guess 1) Chicken Do-pyasa (Chicken curry with onions) or it could also be Butter Chicken 2) Basmati rice 3)Aaloo aur Mattaar Masala (Spiced Potatoes and Peas) 4) Bread 5) Roti (Indian flat bread) PS: I'm Indian
For those who are thinking that is air India really improving ? . As an Indian I must say yes. After the collapse of jet airways air India is the only option left for us to go abroad because all.other airlines are local connected. Yes they have very old fleet this is because of economical crisis that air India have faced.
Thank you for the Air India video. It may not be the best in the world but people always criticize it. Most of them are Indians who may not have flown this airline at all. There r many youtube videos posted in which the uploader goes for a high range in which he might be mouth fed also if he wishes by the crew, then there are others who upload complete negative reviews of every airline and some weirdos videos in which uploader wants airhostess to flirt with them for good reviews. But this channel is best catering to the average flyer who expects a decent tour. Cheers 👍👍
We flew business class Air India in September 2019 . It was a 15 hour flight from JFK to New Delhi. The seats were broad and comfortable. The food and cabin service was average and needs improvement.
Flew them from DEL to FRA last early December and it was one of the most empty flights I had ever been on. AI is hurting bad. I bet this route is another money-loser as well.
I've never flown Air India and I'm never likely to but that business class hard product is what I seek out when booking so that my wife and I can sit together and I can have a window seat. At least that's what I used to do when it was safe to fly and travel. One day....
Great video, but I wonder why Air India continues to use such an outdated cabin configuration in Business Class? The amenity kit was really nice though.
Man, I miss travelling to India from the uk. Been three years now since I stepped on to that terrible, hideous carpet and so ready for a masala chai. Poor, poor India, getting it so bad at the moment, here's to brighter days.
