As an economy-class passenger I got upgraded to business class twice while flying with emirates... When i encountered all those perks and comforts, all i thought to myself was "i don't deserve this.."
I love this guy, manners cost absolutely nothing, but they can make someone's day. You have been raised correctly sir and I can really appreciate that. You deserve happiness and success.

マシュー ॐ: it would be more realistic to compare Emirates with Etihad, Qatar or Singapore Airlines. If you want to draw a comparison with Ryanair choose Jet2 or easyjet. I fly Ryanair on a regular basis, if you know their regulations and schedule it’s easy to fly short haul flights for less than €20. I also fly emirates, they’re my airline of choice for long haul flights and their business class is excellent, I’ve been upgraded from business to first several times and it’s absolutely fantastic. I wouldn’t draw a comparison between Ryanair and Emirates, they’re both great at what they do.
That´s curious.First class passengers have the lowest Chance of Survival in the case of a crash. But then, when your chances are more on the homeopathic side, why you should worry. It makes no difference.
I believe when you realized you had an update to First Class, you must feel like you just won a few billion-euro lottery. How lucky you are! I wish I would have a luck like that when I travel P/S: and you must really sad when the flight was came to the end, and that is what I feel when your video comes to the end
Flowered Sentiments Airlines frequently do it to make the passengers more impressed which makes them fly with that airline more and leave good reviews. Airlines make a lot of money from it. On your 2-5 emirates flight (If your flying business) you will be guaranteed a upgrade. I got my upgrade on a 13 hour flight!
Gail Stone They do it to everyone. I’m a normal person and got upgraded. It’s just so that you leave good reviews and keep flying with them in hopes of another upgrade.
Reading the comments, I remembered that I had an experience of being upgraded to first class! It happened many years ago, and it was just as exciting for me as it was for you. You never really forget the experience!
I think it's great that sometimes you get upgrades. It's impossible to think that the major airlines don't know who you are by now, so I guess it's an affirmation of your channel, and by virtue a recognition of us, your subscribers.
Deepika Trilokekar Shringarpure You have to have miles accumulated. You get miles everytime you travell. When you have enough points, they promote you or give some kind of benefit.
I think this was a “surprise” upgrade. What I mean is that David didn’t trade in any miles, or used status with that airline. He just happened to get lucky enough to get upgraded on this particular flight. Airlines do that sometimes, usually to travelers that are traveling solo
Amazing trip report! Reminds me of the time I was upgraded by Emirates from economy to business. This was back in 2010 so my plane was Boeing 777. I was shocked to have my tickets swapped when I boarded the plane. One of my top 2 flight experiences

Expertly done. I flew First Class on Emirates to Milan from JFK. The experience was everything! I am still reliving that trip and can’t wait to fly again on Emirates.

the suite looks very nice but i think the advantages over their business class product in total is not so big compared to the difference in price. great report as usual - liked :D

This video reminds me of my vacation on the Royal Caribbean...husband and I stayed in a Royal Suite...and the amenities were out of this world...also when we presented the special ‘Black Card’, the treatment was even more AMAZING...I admit, I had the big head coming back to America...I cried when I destroyed the Black Card 🥺
Don't get me wrong, I love flying business/first class and it appears they are nothing compared to Emirates Suites but I just could not handle the constant pampering. People coming by every five minutes to make sure I am properly pimped would just drive me crazy.
Went to Kabul, Afghanistan, from Dubai, UAE recently and on return back to Dubai, they had 2 security checks, one upon arrival to the airport amd another after check in.
I'm going to Colombo this summer! Glad to see the airport is getting some improvements! And Emirates plays actual music! I'm an oldies person so it's good to know that I can vibe with it when I get on their plane!
WOW 😮 I’m quite impressed by the presentation of the food, in the buffet. My brother-in-law is a trained chef, and he will be the first to say that 90 percent of the meal, is the presentation.
My daughter, her partner and his sister flew back from Nairobi at the beginning of Jan 2019, I don't remember what seats were booked for the flight but they were all offered an upgrade for an extra 50£ each, they said they would be willing to pay 60£ for the three of them as long as they would have extra leg room as my daughters partner and sister both are over 6ft with long legs and it was a long flight. About ten minutes before take off a senior Steward went to see them and said as the leg room they had was inadequate they would be upgraded for free and we're moved to First Class seats with more room and they were all together in a row of three unlike before when they had been in two different rows, my daughter even got a window seat and was lucky as it was fairly cloud free the first half of the flight home.

No it does, because wen I flew in economy class on the a380 we were on the upper deck, yes some emirates a389 have economy on the upper deck, there was over head bins, but first class don’t cuz there is storage compartments in the suits
You are a very polite guest, a treat for airlines actually. Other than that Emirates reminds me of SATC movie all the time, it was, perhaps the best in movie promo of an airline, nicely captured. I also note that most Muslim origin country airlines rely heavily on gold, beige, red to accentuate their interiors. Glamorous indeed but sometimes a bit too over the top.
