Tripura: Amit Shah inspects Single Row Fencing along Indo-Bangladesh border at Sabroom 

The population of Tripura's 19 Scheduled Tribes(Tiprasa) dropped from 63.77% in 1881 to 31.78% in 2011. This is attributed to the migration of 6.10 lakh Bengalis - the figure almost equal to the State's total population in 1951 - from East Pakistan (now Bangladesh) between 1947 and 1971.

Mostly Bangladeshi's are coming through the river and where is no fancing areas of borders.

Water and Oil you can never mix. We Tripuri peoples are living in Tripura by Iddentity crisis without any political, fundamental, economical rights. Please share all hindu and muslim Bangladeshi peoples all over the states of India. Why only Tripuri peoples have suffer. At 1905 Lord Curzon already had devided to bengal in the name of religion. One part is West Bengal for hindu bengali peoples and East Bengal for Muslim Bengali peoples. From where they are coming from? We Tripuri was too much help them in the Nowakhalia riots, Brahmanbaria riots also in the time of Bangladesh liberation. Not any more, we Tripuri became microscopic minority in our own land. Tripura kings is not Bengali. I believe truth will win whatever Indian government doing injustices to our 'Tiprasa' peoples.
