Since I wrote this comment 2 years ago , it s weird for me to suddenly get a reaction to this. Still I would state that for any change in the system , you require criticism. You can argue if the criticism can be valid or articulated in a different way. Its nothing alien that UPSC examinations need reform. And not just the examination , but also the larger societal perception regarding the services. When you give such a morally +socially high stage to an exam which is at the end of the day public service , you are still in a colonial hangover.
