I would be disowned for acting this way, bruh a full meal made by a private chef...also why didn't they just confirm the meal with him if they knew how much of a picky eater they are. Anyways all Dixie had to do was put the snail on the side of her plate and not eat it PERIODT END OF STORY
1: They said they knew she wasn't going to like it. 2: She ate the snail because they said that it gives you good luck, she said she didn't want to but she did cause they said that. 3: She also said the snail was good except for the other part she ate. 4 if your parents disowned you for gagging at food you don't like, then I'm guessing they don't like you.

Also, just because something gives you luck doesn’t mean you have to do it.
