Oh yeah 100% they do it in Berlin as well! I live there and on the busiest streets the kids will always ask you for money and make you feel sorry. There was a time where a girl was playing guitar for money and the kids begged her to give them her money that she earned. But in reality there was a car couple blocks down with the father in the car waiting for the mother and kids to finish and then they’d leave in this big van. And they always pick pocketed. Even in a big busy city.
