Ryan takes Trista to Vail, Colorado to get a glimpse into his daily life. After Ryan introduces Trista to his “work family” at the fire station, they make their way to a beautiful mountaintop to watch the sunset…and share their first kiss. Later that night, Ryan and Trista join Ryan’s parents for dinner and everything goes better than planned. Ryan is falling fast for Trista, but there are still two other men, and their families, to compete with.

This seems so much more natural than more current seasons. There was no dramatic run and jump into each other’s arms, fancy at home date, and etc. It seemed like something 2 normal people would do.

My thoughts exactly! I was expecting the typical jump and nope, they were two normal people saying hi. I actually like this style more. Much more natural and relatable

That’s why it was the best season. It was normal and REAL. It was really all about two people simply falling in love .... not about entertaining the viewing public with drama or wowing them with exotic tropical destinations. And it was before social media started ruling people’s lives and “number of followers” became so important🙄. I loved Trista & Ryan and still do. I think Ryan is still the best bachelorette contestant ever. The most genuine, gentle, real, humble, down to earth guy that’s ever been on either Bachelor or Bachelorette. He would’ve won my heart, too ..♥️

Because this was the BEST season. The Bachelorette/Bachelor has gone downhill since then, unfortunately, and now has a totally different feel. These were the best days of the franchise right here. Wholesome and real. Before social media took over everyone’s lives. I loved Trista and Ryan, and I love that they’re still together now in 2020 ..♥️♥️

His friends were funny (“she’s a hottie, way out of my league and probably mike’s too”) but also sweet (“we wanna keep him around”). The connection felt very real. ☺️
