I love this song, and whole album, but I always feel sad thinking how many gallons of tears she cried writing it and how many gallons Jason cried hearing it...sad but now they're both happily married, so it all works out and I'm selfishly glad for this album.

I was just talking to my friend about music. We were talking about sad love songs and I told him about this album; what you went through. Ive listened to it a hundred times when it first came out. I had to come and listen again. It breaks my heart, still!

I look up to Jason Mraz, a whole lot, but this totally just contradicted "I won't give up".

She did say in an interview to OK that this song was a response to "I Won't Give Up" this whole situation is so understandable to me. I feel like I've been in the same place.

I feel like crying whatever his reason, I hope they're both happy now

this song isnt really about 'glass jar' the name should be ' you gave up on us' she didnt want to have a song called you gave up on us and him i won give up on us
