It is just so sad that this poor child lost her life but it is even more upsetting in which the manner that she died. I could not imagine this as a parent.
@cal rogers - The manner in which she died was that she was murdered by stabbing. That is clearly obvious to anyone who actually took a few minutes to listen before they commented unnecessarily rudely to another person who was just expressing their sympathy. Can’t and don’t even want to imagine the pain this family feels and has to endure the rest of their lives. So senseless. I have a 13 year old daughter. I look at her and think of Tristyn. I hug her and my other three kids so tightly every day. This world is so sad. I just can’t understand this is the world we are forced to raise our babies in. Rest In Peace beautiful.

I’m glad the pastor asked the community to not let the love and support now offered to this family fade as time presses forward. Grief lasts a lifetime. Too often, after the funeral, people just go back to their normal lives, and the family is left to grieve alone. Remember what this pastor said when someone in your life must live through a tragedy. ❤️

It’s just all about different types of grief, but I do know they were celebrating her life so not alot of tears were supposed to be involved just being thankful for the good memories in her life. Christians especially mega church Christians are not followers of the God of Abraham Issac and Jacob. That church reminds me of first Baptist church downtown. They only care about a blonde cheerleaders family. I don't see them trying to put poor families back together so judge Gooding doesn't dismember them. The only way these people would help a poor child is if they get to buy them and recreate the kids identity to suite themselves or it's a starving child from a different country that it makes them feel good and look good to help. If there is no earthly reward these people wouldn't help. None of them try to help families who really need them that don't offer anything in return.

People need to pay attention to what babies and children are going through. This stuff doesn’t come out of nowhere. Babies who don’t receive empathy aren’t going to have empathy for anyone else; babies who no one attaches to, aren’t going to have normal human feelings about life and death. Developmental trauma is real and serious, and no one is paying attention to it.

It can be a therapy to try and remember the best of our lost ones with love and whatever smile we can muster. It is so painful to lose a person close to us. Getting wrapped up in our sorrow and our tears is the easiest thing to do. But just finding a even a small ray of light in that darkness can spark your healing.

Sooo incredibly true.. he ripped away any chance of life & for her, her family, his family.. so many people affected, all because he decided to answer her bullying him with a brutal attack. This, makes me so scared. Kids are growing up so fast, acting like little chip on their shoulders"adults"as shown by his bad behavior even in the cop car(after the arrest). You know what else makes my stomach churn, how his friends are acting too.. this is so scary. It's like all these kids are using her as a symbol for her bullying... they have no remorse. I understand the pain of it, I was made fun of a lot as a kid, as so many are... but I would never, Ever, consider retaliation let alone stone cold murder. I hope her family is healing, as well as the community at large.
