A little demonstration of the Triton Le's sounds, showing little parts of Dream Theater, Eterna, Tiesto, Super Mario and aleatory improvisations. Made on a white macbook.
I still have my Triton Le. I bought it right when it was made available in the states many years ago. Let me tell you all... this thing is a BEAST. ...if you know how to work it. And honestly, its not that hard. You can make music with this station on the fly with very little problems. Read the entire manual and research the internet. Buy the sampler card too!! You can always create new sounds and save them to the flash media card. I did a fun track once using people's voices as well as my own.
Yes! It has the M1 piano... you can also load samples in if you have a SmartMedia card and extra ram (dimm). There is a expansion board for sampling too.
_Great Job, just thinking to buy one of them and your demo is very good, the piano sounds, pads etc are all of them the originals sounds from the Triton LE 76 or you just buy the sounds for it and in that case which sounds are they?
Recently bought one form a cashies shop for Aus $100.00, a few squirts of contact cleaner and away we go. Fantastic synth, had triton studio 88 and sold it and regretted it. This ones a keeper.
Are all the presets in this demo factory ? Also in terms of like piano presets are there a decent amount with the LE76 ? Im looking to use it for some steely dan and doobie brothers on the strictly keyboard side of things.
I actually don't remember very well, but I think just one distorted lead sound and a phaser pad are not presets. The triton is all about presets, their really good and edit sounds there not always lead to any decent result (at least with my limited skills...) I remember it to have some pretty decent electric and digital piano sounds, only three acoustic piano variations and hundreds of mad synth combinations. I miss it sounds a lot, even having a far better synthesizer today.
So glad I chose not to compromise and buy the Triton LE and got the Triton Extreme. I don't remember what the LE cost new, back in the day...but used, it's going for around $750 and what a sad joke that is, as the Kross 2 is a HUGE upgrade from the Triton LE and is only $800 new.
@@forrestperkins6237 Alternatively....one could purchase Korg's Triton Collection software for $199(& have both the Triton/Triton Extreme sounds)...use a laptop, along with a midi controller keyboard(namely the Arturia Keylab Essential 88) and have a kick-ass setup that pisses all over the Triton LE keyboard and for a fraction of the price.
Hey brother your videos are still useful and interesting. Could you help me with something? How can I save timbres in some shortcut to use fast during a song? O have a le 76. I have no favorite buttom
hey, what sounds are you using at 4:33 and 4:55 ?(sounds a little bit like program bank A big sweep stab?) they sound nice, and another thing, i dont know if its the korg triton but when i play i move my legs all the time like you did on that part at 4:45... MUST be the triton le 76 ^^
Hey man! Nice play! I got a Triton Le 61 for some time now and I can´t find the Smart Card memory anywhere here. I'd like to make a record of my songs and i need it to do so. Do u know how can i get it By the way, is there a specific software plug the Triton in a laptop Thanks
You can find it easy on eBay... is the best way! And I think to load the SmartMedia cart, the best way is to use a car reader on the PC... I plug my Triton on the computer just for MIDI, by a MID-USB cabe (a Roland UM1x)
Hi,i am currently bidding for this keyboard on ebay, does this synth has M1 piano?also i heard that it has no sampler like it's big brother and you have to buy it by option?
The piano doesnt sound from KORG , it is a bit light at the lower octave..i have an korg X5D and i hate that piano, too heavy in the lower octave, i really like this piano. I have played also M50 and that was the same story as the X5D, does LE has another piano sound?? help me out please
Hi Eduardo thanks and sorry for the noob question, you mean,to be able to use the sampling,i need to buy the expansion board?what's the name of that sampling board?thanks again.
it's the original one! nothing change from out of the box... in any guitar sound on this demo.... if you want I can look in my Korg the name of the patches....
Hey, just wanted to let everyone know I've left Open Labs and started a new company called Music Computing. Check out the new gear at Music Computing or click the link below for videos. - Thanks, Victor Wong
seems your triton need to be cleaned... and need a new damper pedal! my triton got problens in the painel buttons and keys, then I clean it. but tear down the synth is not easy!
@@potaylo Probably way too late for my reply, however, I had same issue with pitch when using damper - the pitch/mod joystick was the issue - a wire had broken - I opened up and re-soldered, now working fine. Tear down isn't too tricky on this synth either - I replaced the expression knob potentiometers and the display backlight too - not difficult.
I got my eye on a keyboard that, it is a dream to use, and an excellent workstation, I'm searching the net on workstations 6 or 7/8, if anyone knows of any better tell me al ... earned
