Sehr geehrter Herr Dr. Frank Meisner, ich hatte immer so ein unbestimmtes, ungutes Gefühl, wenn ich Probefahrten durchgeführt habe. Dank Ihnen wurde mir endlich bewusst was das verursacht hat: Ventilkappen aus Kunststoff! Ich muss völlig wahnsinnig gewesen sein mich diesem lebensgefährlichen Risiko ausgesetzt zu haben. Danke also für Ihren Kommentar, in dem Sie ja auch schon messerscharf erkannt und angemerkt haben, wie strohdoof ich bin. Neugierig wie ich bin, war ich auf Ihrer RU-vid-Seite. Ich las dort: "Dr. Frank Meisner: Auf diesem Kanal gibt es keine Inhalte" ... Dem ist nichts hinzuzufügen, außer vielleicht der Hinweis auf den TRIUMPH Konfigurator, in dem die von Ihnen gewünschten Ventilkappen erhältlich sind. I like the front end and wheel and the engine finish better on this than the new ones. Too bad they put that fat balloon and two trash can lids on the front of all of them. I'll just find a clean used one like this.

It's 11months later and as I look at them putting the bobber together it makes me wish I was young again. I rode Harley's most my life but it all started in 66 with a used Bonneville . I will never forget it . Thanks for the flash back.

I had loud pipes on several bikes. Not anymore. I'm getting old I guess. I have the quilted black seat, cruise control and smaller end mirror on order. Then I'll just ride it. The swingarm bag looks nice but not for $300. I'll put a backpack or messenger bag on instead.

Those are called 'Gator's" Keep dirt from getting in the fork seals. I like them, my self, but they could be remove with a sharp knife !
