Seems to me you bought the wrong bike with all these videos saying what is wrong with the Speedmaster, You should have bought a touring bike or an adventure bike..or maybe another Harley that you always seem to say as loads of parts available
Afternoon Bearded - many thanks for the comment. 'Tiz true what you say, Harley are the after-market kings of the universe. Maybe even the factory extras kings too... Yes, I'd love to have a nice Street Glide, or something, but I can't afford that. Alas! Also, it's too big, really. As for adventure bikes: no thanks (urgh...). If you watch my 'Next...' bike video, you'll see why I went for the Speedmaster - still the right choice, for me. (I believe that any bike would require a multitude of upgrades - especially my old Harley Sportster!) Cheers, Chris
@@chrisoftheot6272 I was able to directly fit a Street Bob one from ebay, only had to add a little rubber to adjust from 47mm to 49mm diameter, now working on the led light fitting for which I have to remove the housing and replace it with a smaller 5.75 one. will email you soon
Wow - it fitted, more or less, straight away? That's a result. 👍 (I thought the Speedmaster headlight was smaller than the Street Bob - shows what I know!). Interested to see the picture. Cheers, Chris
