Inreally like the looks of the T120. I think this model looks the part. But can it be ridden fast too? Sometimes I wnt to go fast and sometimes just cruise around. Depends on the mood.
It can be ridden fast, but the lack of ground clearance and the more relaxed suspension combined with the geometry and the heavy, larger diameter wheels, means that this bike is nowhere near as agile or responsive as most other bikes, with modern alloy wheels and more aggressive geometry. I'm just about to sell my XSR900 which is in a different league compared to the t120 as far as performance is concerned, so if you are mostly interested in going fast, having lots of power and torque and having a more nimble machine, then something like mt09/street triple/xsr900 is your best bet. T120, to me, is more about enjoying the journey and having a good time. It has enough power to keep it fun and makes overtaking easy, but it's not a bike that encourages or rewards you for going fast. In my opinion, at least.
This is in Australia, Victoria! It's a stretch of road between Healesville and Marysville, called "Black Spur". Great bit of road for an early morning ride, before all the traffic gets there. Arguably even better between Marysville and Reefton, just a bit further up
Unless you’re in ukraine you aint supporting shit, one minute it’s a black circle then a rainbow and now a ukraine flag anything to be perceived as good. I’d go to war from my phone too.
It's actually poorly geared for this road. As it is, this bike is primed to throw you off it. You don't have any load on those springs. You also have the motor cycling in its low rev zone. You've got no control over that motor and no grip on the road and those springs are ready to launch you into the air.
I'm not sure I quite understand, but I've had no issues riding that road or many others on the t120 and many other bikes I've ridden over the years. Sometimes going a bit slower, sometimes going a bit faster. Never got thrown off or had issues with grip or feeling like I have no control 🤷♂️
