u only have 5 hp advantage from peak power to peak power comparisons but looking at the section thats about 3/4ths of the way up it looks like much more (over 10whp) and more importantly at the last 1000 rpms you can clearly see the stock exhaust 675Rs power slightly starts to taper and fall off where yours keeps climbing and even appears that if you had extended revs it would go even higher. so your power is sustained for a longer period which would have a huge effect in a top end race.. that 5hp is only a small part of the story.. your exhaust and flash is doing much more than what the average person is noticing. not to mention we have no idea what your tq curve differences are..keep up the good work iB..
The BMW S1000RR never seems to fail in the performance department. That's pretty dope on how you do not need to lock the front tire with the rear Pit-Bull restraints on. 👌🏽
I've got a spanking new fully loaded S1000rr, a squidded GSXR 600 and a Daytona 675r...every damn day all I want to do is ride my Daytona! Why is this bike so amazing?!
I used to not be a very bike 675R fan but looking at it now, it's pretty apparent that the price tag is justified. Imagine buying a stock 600 and then outfitting it with full ohlins, full brembos, a quickshifter...etc.... looking at $3-4k easy.
wow the 675r has more HP than I thought. I envy you man. Work hard, have nice toys, and an awesome toy hauler. Plus I see 2 pimped out car seats in your Range Rover! :)
I'm late to the party, but as soon I saw that facial hair I scrolled straight to the comments lol. 178hp at the wheel on that S1000RR... Preeeettttyyyy savage. BY the way, that trailer is awesome!
Alot of money for a 5hp increase with that arrow system, what were your torque figures? Im not a massive fan of that end can you have think it ruins the lines of the bike
i think it makes more, in the dyno..weight has to be set right to show actual power, with the weight shaved off with the full system im sure they forgot to change that
the stock exhaust on the 675r looks better never messed around with a British bike how does eliminating the cat and baffle make the stock exhaust sound?
hey 650ib when are you and the crew coming down to Daytona bike week so I can lay the smackdown on you guy's????? hahaha I'm kidding but that would be cool as shit, keep the vids up bro I love em.
Loose Aussie beg? lol I'm not begging just thought it would be cool is all plus I'm looking to race someone I know who has some skills. I've been tearing apart all the new liter bikes around here I want to see if it's just skill separating everyone I've raced. plus I'd love to be in one of his RU-vid videos. I've got a bike crew of 500+ he can do smackdown all day and not race everyone
Wow!... 5hp gain doesn't sound like much, but that's just the top end. The gain/smoothing down low and in the mid-range is the immediate difference you'd feel, and which is more important. Btw, I'm pretty sure that the shorty Arrow for the Daytona 675 isn't just a slip-on, but is a 3/4 system that removes the cat as well. Have a look at Chaseontwowheels' 675R.
Avi Mistry That's what all these people are failing to miss, pluse we also didn't see the TQ to weight ratio and the weight savings alone is worth the cash
nice line on your graph IB, doesn't get much smoother than that, and I too use the pitbull trailer restraint system and I absolutely love it. #nostraps
my local dealer here in the UK had one for sale a while ago that was 125bhp at the wheel but not sure what was done to it. also why's you arrow can so massive!?
Ib you might have to cut that struggle beard bro lol. Love that bike carrier you have. I won't have a use for one of those for a long time haha, awesome vid
What did your ecu flash consist of? There's quite a few things you can do with them. If you increased your revs you will be needing to replace your valves with better ones
I want to like the arrow exhaust, but I just can't. Nor the yoshimura on the Daytona 675R. I feel it looks the best with an akra or even a scorpion exhaust. I just ride my Daytona 675R on the streets. No track or anything so I don't need to get a full system. Full system exhausts are waaayyy to expensive. Jaret Campisi had a great build tho. He obviously did something right. I think it was 131 rear wheel. Insane. Especially with the bike weighing less than 400lbs. Overall. It's 14k price tag is on point. Chase had probably the best review too, coming from an R6 and also owning a Daytona.
650ib i know brother. I'm still waiting on taking my first ride of 2017. snowed only a couple inches today but expecting a big snow storm on tues into thurs over here.
What do you do for a living? See all these sweet bikes, and vehicle and trailor and all the fun stuff, makes me curious what your day to day grind is tho?
The bike moves jolts around a lot being transported on/in a trailer. I would never have anything metal to metal on the bike as a tie down. They should have had the ends of the pin sheeved with rubber plastic of some sort. Looks a good system apart from that. I think the Moto Cinch is a better option.
This is very interesting. I know dynos may differ, but my 2010 675 made 115hp with Arrow Slip on, decat' and dyno tune. Is this with just the standard Arrow map?
Hi Ib, I'd imagine it'll definitely help, regardless, we all know the numbers can change so much between dynos, different days and conditions etc. It certainly sounds like it's running right. Looking forward to seeing more of the R in future vids 👍🏻 All the best.
is it me or do the triumphs seem quiet? my 04 cbr600rr with two bros system (can is shortened 3 inches) definitely seems to have a nicer scream. ill get some videos up when my camera arrives.
Aleix G its hard to really get a feeling for the sound via RU-vid. a friend of mine has a street triple with a hindle slipon and it likely sounds pretty similar. i suppose im comparing two very different bikes. i just love the scream of a the honda 600cc inline 4.
hello 650ib, i have a 675r 2014 like yours, and i going to america next april for vacations and i really want to buy some stuffs for my triumph, and seeing your videos i thought that you may can give me a help, for exemplo, bazaar or power commander? witch one? thanks mate. i'm from brazil
Yea i get it. Its expensive but man it looks beautiful. Some guy converted a H2R street legal and registered it maybe the same can be done on the Bmw though. Hopefully they make a street legal Hp4 again not just a race version
In India, the Daytona 675 R is detuned compared to the International version. It makes 10 hp less. such a shame. anyway, it's the best option as a really fast bike as per the road and traffic constraints.
You should change your airfilter if you haven't done that already, i have a BMC freeflowing street filter in mine, there's also a raceversion available with even better airflow. You would get better results, power , smoothness with a PC5 installed + have a custom map done. Mine dynoed 121.8 hp (+8hp over stock) @ rw
I had no idea you still had little ones! congrats! Now your just a complete contradiction! I love it! Kiddo's and bikes! When are they getting their 1st pocket bikes? lol
Right on! Impressed with how much HP the full titanium exhaust gave on the 675 over stock. But do you think some of that could be attributed to the fact that your bike is more broken in than the stock one? I can really hear the top end difference on the dyno.
Why did you add such a big pipe??? And the length of your exhaust is a lot longer....I bet if you would have went with a smaller muffler and a shorter pipe, that you would have gotten a little more than 5hp out of it.
+Roy Patterson The Arrow I have is the only full titanium system available for the 675R with an ecu flash from Triumph. It has more mid range and top end POWA than the short exhaust. I love my whale penis exhaust.
in terms of long term bike to keep for a good few years and can last for a bike tour what would u suggest between Kawasaki z650 or triumph 675? or any other suggestions? thanks 650ib
Sebastián Demaría ok great thanks Sebastian, I just want to keep my options open. 👍 how long u been riding??

Joshua kitt 25 years. Suzuki Gsx 1000 "F". Excelent bike if you want a bike with super sport power, but more confortable and ready for longer rides, abs, traction control, 150 hp (venerable gsxr 1000 2005-6 engine) good price. www.sportrider.com/2016-suzuki-gsx-s1000f-abs-review
