Triumph Mountain Cub T20M first attempt to start with Boyer Powerbox and no battery. 

Here is my first attempt to start this machine without a battery fitted, it being pretty vital that this machine can run without one, due to space limitations with the 'D' shaped air filter fitted. Back in the day, these machines were supposed to be able to run without a battery on the not very successful Energy Transfer ignition systems they were equipped with, but here, I have set this one up to hopefully start and run without a battery using a 12 volt 2 wire alternator and a Boyer Powerbox to regulate and rectify the current. This also has a built in capacitor, which should aid starting and help smooth out the output.
