It is just classic doom. Which will inspired future black metal, but it is not black metal. Hellhammer has another songs that represent better imo the first creations of black metal

This is a mix of Black/Doom. It has those slow, ultra heavy riffs with that filthy and dark black metal tone

@@coldacre Venom ain't black metal. The only thing they have in common is coining the term. Hellhammer/CF/Bathory were the very first bands. No one denies Venom's influence but they ain't black metal. They're the same case like Possessed
