TRIUMPH OF DIVINE LOVE | The Word Exposed with Cardinal Tagle (May 5, 2024)
Today is the Sixth Sunday of Easter; we are almost at the end of the Easter season. I hope it has been a time of renewed relationship with the Risen Lord.
The gospel for today contains a part of Jesus’s discourse during the supper before his death. He told his disciples: “I no longer call you slaves, because a slave does not know what his master is doing. I have called you friends, because I have told you everything I have heard from my Father.”
It is good to remember this as we approach the conclusion of the Easter season and transition to the ordinary time. How do I perceive Jesus? The way we view Jesus also influences the way we live our faith.
And the good news is that: Jesus calls us his friends, he does not hide anything from us, and he wants us to remain in his love. A love that comes from the Father. A love that inspires us to love one another.

The gospel is replete with the love in the same manner that the gospel during fifth Sunday of Easter is replete with remain attached.Our reflection shall be focused on what every baptized christians should do to love one another.Love is sweetest thing on earth as freedom is.However we not correcly answered the question "what does freedom mean to you?" Now we ask the same question "what does love mean to you?"
