He can only race the 250 outdoors bc they never had a point out (like sx) or age out (like mxgp) so hes eligible for the class in that series. And yes they changed the point out rule in sx last year but bc he was already out of the class he cant go back, if they made an exception for him they would also have to allow guys like justin cooper or colt nichols (who both got screwed in thier title defense year but forced to move up anyway) back in the class and it would create a can of worms they dont wanna open
Probably driven by the homologation rule since the production bikes aren't for sale yet. Don't like 250 bikes have to be in the USA before the AMA allows them to compete? A certain date for that homologation deadline???

Savatgy should be able to ride 250. Leterally taking what the fans want and flushing it down the toilet. AMA and all these organizations forget this is a fan driven view sport....it is a show an event. Just like the guy getting in trouble for letting people rev his bike....they don't care if the fans want it, they want to control everything. Too bad.
Really curious how Ferry will do. No hate at all, kids a bad dude. But I am a little worried for him based on what we’ve seen the last cpl years. This industry is brutal..hope they give him a couple years to find his confidence!!
I thought the US Team would follow suit as for the MXGP Team that has Monster as their Title Sponsor. That is true nowadays it’s all about the bank and media coverage.
A little surprised on their sluggish speed out of the gate as a program with all the heavier hitters on their team. I sure with them success though. Ducati seems to be on warp speed comparatively.
What's going on with Michael I thought he was ready and the west Coast that Deagan is going to be on is more competitive then east smart move for triumph to pick the opposite coast...
Is Mosiman even racing or even have a ride?? Well I love the team line up but not having a sponsor doesn't surprise me because of the economy in America sucks bigtime right now. I know Beta has Fuji Water on board as their primary sponsor. I do hope they find a couple of sponsors to help the team out! I would hate to see them have to leave the sport due to lack of sponsorship. But I do think J. Swollen will do good and maybe he can bring the team some sponsorship. I think maybe tha lack of sponsorship could be the reason why the didn't race the Westcoast and couldn't Bring Mosiman on board.
I don't like it, but I get it: Triumph wants to do well & meet their objectives out of the box. If "they" have determined they can't do that starting at A1/west coast, I can understand how they would swallow that bitter pill & scale back and debut in East only. But I can't help but ask/think some of that has to do to not having a title sponsor locked down. I wish them luck fir a number of reasons, not the least is we... Noone wants to see them crash & burn (go away) like RCH, or Geico Honda did 😮
So the brand we've had no choice but to hear about for nearly a year isn't at the first race and the brand we've heard nothing about (Beta) is. Right... Why are these companies getting into moto anyway? Clearly the market was already saturated with 7 brands. There's no way this sport can support 2 more brands.
Triumph has dragged this on so long that it is losing all the excitement that it generated early on. Big mistake not racing in the west coast also. Seems like they could have put some manufacturer type pressure on the AMA and Feld to get their top rider in the 250 show. Not impressed.
they will have a tough time. They needed a premiere rider instaead they settled for unproven stars and we all know what that means. A long year of losing
Well, I am very interested in supporting triumph, racing in motocross, and I hope that the team widen itself to more riders so that they can cover all the races, and I hope that they allow the riders to have triumph design, their gear, because the colors and style that I see them riding in is pretty terrible. It’s ugly and it’s not, very cool or intimidating or anything it’s just well it’s just unattractive and not worthy of triumph
