The bike looks beautiful as it is from stock but with these mods it’s stunning now! The bar end mirrors give the bike that off road bad ass kind of looks , but I personally still enjoy the classic Mickey Mouse ones. The sound of new pipes is phenomenal! 👌🏻
Nice one! This is what a large part of owning a bike is all about IMO, getting it just how YOU want it. Who cares if you'll never take it off road and lets face it, if you where serious about going offroad you'd be taking stuff off to save weight, not bolting it on. Several criteria come into play when choosing a bike, in no particular order, performance, handling, practicality, cost, looks etc.... You just put them in the order you want and make your choice. Enjoy! 👍
Nice bike! The Triumph handle bar brace is the only thing, I considered bullshit back in 2010 on my old Scrambler, the aluminium protection guard underneath the gear box really prevented my oil filter from being ripped off and proofed to be a nice and expensive piece of gear, that actually saved money.
This is going to sound weird, but is that you Reef Dork!? You helped me set up my reef tank over the last 2 years, now you are going to help me set up my new Scrambler 1200 xe. Are we living in a parallel universe! Love the bike!
Really interesting video I have fitted basically all the extras mentioned except my pipe is a guy Martin great escape pipe and yes it is horrendously loud...super video but you forgot to mention that despite me being 5ft 8.....55years old and slightly rotund I still feel like Steve McQueen when green laning!!!!!!
Fantastic video I picked up my xe1200 last week what an amazing bike ,you've given me a few ideas especially the high mudgaurd ,I think the bike should have came with this as it shows off the true scrambler style. I've just added numbers to the front and side, 63 for the year I was born and the year the made tge movie tge great escape 😀
The fork covers are there for a reason to stop your fork legs getting chips and leaking oil not a very good idea at all to take them off I wouldn't recommend it to any other people looking at this you will either have to get them rechromed f from a professional or you will have to buy new forks guaranteed good luck.
The camera on my phone got all janky on me. When I’d go into the camera and look through the viewfinder, the scene was very blurry. I had no idea why. Then I read on RU-vid that having your phone on your motorcycle handlebars can screw with the image stabilization on the phone. So I’m pretty sure that’s what happened. The camera was basically unusable. I was just about ready to get a new phone anyway, so I didn’t bother fixing it.
